Ah Ma celebrate cookie bday – cookie lick the cake – chicken. 

Ah Ma:”脚还是没力，今天笫5天了，沒大便。要抱牠小便。前天12小时都没小便，我担心死了。现在大便5丶6小时一次。🙏” – not sure what she mean. She said today day 5 no poo yet say 5-6h shit ?

Ah Ma:”yesterday wholeday is good. energetic until night can walk properly again.

this morning no strength again. she look better now. hope the tmc can help. still no 大便”

Ah Ma:”today 第五天没大便了，星期二最后一次。我前两有给牠吃你上次送过來的药” – end up next day I meet them to let cookie see dr Pauline. Tried tvm n she had her first acupunture and also had rectum enema done. Poo out ard 150g of poo 

Ah Ma msg me that cookie last poo formed poo on Monday, n today they called clinic told them go 24h n they wanna ask me need to go emergency? 

I got these details:

Sum up: issue is didn’t poo from tues to sat as of now (5 days) 

Factual: 

• Food intake didn’t change, still eat as well. 

• she go to litterbox still but doesn’t look like got difficulty pooping

• pee normal 

If RR is ok, and with above, I won’t go 24h. I’ll feed probiotics.- she said RR 31 and video look calm. Ok .

So I send them sacc and see how by Tmr. today n Tmr probiotics,  by Tmr should poo le 

5pm+:ah Ma:”she like pumpkin. can eat one pcs. twice a day?” – told her cannot give too much also. Give Tmr one more time can le. 

4.29pm: ah Ma:”heart shape. cookie urine”

12pm+: cookie mama: “Red blood cell count doc said went down but not too concerning yet. No action for now will monitor one more month. Her weight went up 🙂 But bp like not improving so i think chances of eyes recovering are low now. Ok if drop further think have to take the medicine again like last year”

Night: ah Ma send me videos of cookie receive her Xmas present – she rub3 the green catnip pillow  

1.13pm: mama:”we just finish appt at the eye specialist, so cookie eyes no other underlying condition it’s the retinal detachment cuz of blood pressure. So they suggest we review with animal clinic then we adjust her bp medication dosage. So the bp needs to be lower. After we adjust medication then we come back in 8 weeks for follow up for her eyes. They said now she just can see light on or off”- at that moment all I can think of is cookie got mama ah Ma love can le. I feel rena got some issue too, but unknown type 

12pm+: cookie bp machine delivered so I inform mummy. Then she told me: “Today we went to measure her BP. a lot better now it’s about 121 avg” 

3.22pm: mummy: “Yes so far still ok I think she remembers like where things are so she can still move about”

“She seems a lot more alert after the medication also but previously her eyes kept the dilated state then not really reacting to anything even when finger is close to her eye” 

12.01am: mummy:”Hi cat I think cookie has hypertension causing something happen to her vision…recently we realized her pupils quite dilated and just now after her subcut she like cannot find her way back to the room she bump into things where she should be able to see…tmr we going to the vet again I think her blood pressure would be high again like that time…if it’s really hypertension then she have to take the medication right but it’s bad for her kidney? If it’s confirmed hypertension the medication is permanent? I think she’s blind or at least visually impaired right now might be because of retinal detachment “

11.29am:”Hello. We confirmed she really cannot see, then now taking some blood tests just to check the kidney and liver values. The liver is cuz last time she had some issues just want to make sure it’s safe to get started on the hypertension medication. Then doc suggest if the hypertension medication don’t show signs of improvement for the eye then she need to see an ophthalmologist to find out other reasons for the blindness cuz here they can’t check to the back of her eye. But right now they don’t see any bleeding or lines in the pupil. Do u know any ophthalmologist because the doc said we can standby an appointment if there’s no improvement” – that idiot forgot what nAme who see last maxine n she is dead loh. Sigh. Told mummy can have eye drop to help w the eye pressure and amlopidine. But she say: “Doc said no eye drops but suggest we also book appt with eye doc to ensure no other concurrent issue causing the blindness. We take the hypertension meds and check back in 1 week” 

“we do 100 and 150 alternate daily” – drip rate alr high. Erm 

12.23pm: mummy: “Hi hi cat today review doc said blood count went up so we can stop the supplement. But her blood pressure quite high when she take, might be cookie very nervous will take again next follow up in one month. 230. Lowest was like 170. Dk if very high cuz she’s very nervous plus she shivering”

Ks: “Her red blood cell abit low so doc giving us some iron powder supplement to try, then next week follow up” – cookie pcv 26% on sangobion 

11pm+ saw cookie ah Ma posted on her today 

Review n rbc back to 30% and crea improve, Erm mummy says she didn’t continue giving darbepoetin. Erm 

Ahma”last night she breathing fast n got loud noise. I so , sent video yo jiayi, luckily this morning normal. I feed only she didnt eat others food. but today I didn’t buy. jiayi said no good for her lor” 

Cookie 24.10.23 Tues 

8.30am Didn’t hear from ah Ma these 2 days. should be safe and sound. 

542pm: ahma”weight gone down to 2.4kg😞. i think she missed jiayi. also eat little. tmr I go clementi clinic take ear medication. I think that one more effective for her. “ 

109pm: ah Ma msg me: “cookie no appetite I sometime give her a slice of batan fish or chicken. should be  ok from her recent medical report show?yesterday eat well. this morning don’t eat n drink” – fish looks ok. But her words not consistent cos “大小便oK。yesterday eat when feed. today don’t eat, only morning eat few bite” – so I assume cookie is still ok. Ves dispense only martizapine 7/8 means they did give once alr. 

“I think she is finding jiayi” – mummy oversea till 24.10. 

Cookie is discharged, home, got Eat renal kibble. Crea drop to 2.2, hct20%, told mummy to decide on whether she wanna start anemic treatment or wait till 9 days later her vet appt then decide. I’ll start now n she wanna too: send her the meds. 

Cookie 18.10.23 wed 

Tonight cookie start her first dose of darbepoetin, b12, b com and fercosang. 

6.35pm;”cookie yesterday vomit a few times so we sent her to the vet. Now she’s at VES, we are waiting for ultrasound on Monday.She’s hospitalised for today and tmr” – I’m scare of cat hospi, Tmr I’ll fly to visit her too. 

Cookie 15.10.23 sun 

450pm: visit cookie at ves. Looks ok, but front 2 legs veins pop Liao. Iv on left hind leg and on 10ml/h drip rate. She looks pale and I was told she is anemic. – worrying about her. Tmr she will be doing AUS. Tonight redo bloods work. Yesterday’s blood – HCT 27%, still ok ok la. Crea 400+. Without sdma and UPC Done. N urine culture n sensitivity sent out. Alt slight high. Glucose v high due to stress. she is given Cerenia and dr says she is eating well (can’t believe it) and no bupre is given. She is on Clav only. Informed mummy on whether she want to test her for pancreatitis. 

Mama send me her latest bloodworks – Sdma much better and liver also ok le, toxic never spread there

Cookie mama send me:”her birthday today as the day she came to our house 🥹 Inside is salmon. She eat abit only haha. Can only keep 2 days if can’t finish then throw le 🤣”

Sent by mummy: “hi cat we got ur parcel thank u so much always!! Cookie is very excited  😊” 

From cookie mummy: “She lost a bit of weight recently after she on subcut and medication, then this week we going for follow up to do sdma. kibble she eat also but dont look like she gained weight. now she’s quite light only about 3kg”

Received msg from mummy: “Hi cat cookie wasn’t feeling well so we took her to the vet today then I think her kidney isn’t doing so well so from now on she would need to give her subcut 😭 and she needs to be on kidney and liver supplements. We return 2 weeks to measure her glucose again and every 3 months will do blood test. Their kidney supplement was oos so we only took liver one today. Didn’t expect her situation worsen also because she was quite ok we only took her to vet today because of some skin issue at her leg then just nice do test then found out. Also lucky we realize this early 😞 She need be on subcut 100ml each time 2-3 times a week just now at the clinic they did it once so next one we will try on Thursday” 

Seem the bloodworks. Crea aren’t that bad. Liver need to save back fast. So I think I pack a package of stuff to send over. Phos bind no need.
