Should he shows any abnormal behaviour or no pee then bring him in for me to perform cystocentesis. 10am; got pee ok yellow, so far daily got pee plus small bladder so no issue, but play safe hope these 2 days max can get his urine sample for testing then I bring him back to 猫房. V active in walking about. Rena quite comfy w him. 

Today check on him so many times didn’t pee for me to catch or collect. Miss the chance to send out alr. 

5pm: top up water and kibble. Don’t find drinking of water excessive. 

serve ciao cup for snack round. 

Night: v active. Didn’t eat ciao cup. 

Serve Dd pure and Tuna w chicken.

After finding old gang, I go back to grab him to vet. 3.73kg – drop 120g in 2 weeks n drop 400g in 1+ month. but he did eat. 

quick scan v small bladder can’t take urine to check at all. Can only confirm no stones. Xray: kidney normal, w some poo coming,  bladder small, normal. no issue w spine or anything. 

Crystal / infection/ inflammation still kiv for urine to be collected. 

Asked dr nally whether in case now alr have UTI n cos of not able to conclude now so don’t give Med, how? Worsen how?  Her reply is no choice, but at least there is no stones now n won’t have immediate risk of him having a blockage. ok I got to catch his pee within 3 hours. 

Just think he needs to start something at least – taken cystaid plus – 2 weeks supplements n see how. 

His both side lower teeth’s rather jialat w tartar for his age – dr didn’t mention anything further. Erm …  

Back to 猫房hospital, given one cystaid, he stay in room b, w the bin without Peepad so I can catch pee or scoop pee if possible. 

Dr also mention I deem fit if I feel that he might be in pain somewhere maybe can give a once off Buprenophine- she didn’t tell me the dose but I’ll give the smallest end dose 0.03 x 3.73 = 0.12ml if need be. 

Night: didn’t eat at all. Didn’t pee. 

Serve Dd jelly and pure salmon – he did eat a bit. put white Peepad overnight. 

Tao disturb him again from room a.

Morning: again, his everything looks fine except that I find him going bin n seem to have nothing – but I touch his stomach bladder etc ok leh. Still Kiv or I should bring him back tonight? (I think I should) 

Night: brought him back to MFH, room B, very stress, keep staying at top, but carry him down but he damn damn stress even keep hissing – think is Tao make him v stress. Told him overnight he pee n I’ll bring him back tmr. I just need to make sure is I overthink n he is fine w peeing no issue. 

Given him a mettacat mouse w catnip – got a little reaction to it but still scare. 

1140pm: for past 1h there is occasionally one off scream – should be Tao disturbing ah boy. Kind of regret bringing him back mfh – much much much more stress. if tmr still no pee, I’ll put him in cage first away from Tao. by afternoon need to go vet Liao. 

10am: still v active playing ard. 3.85kg – lose 280g 

Morning we play toy, can jump high loh. His leg aren’t affected. 

830am: sweeties fight w ah boy. But the fight is diff. I think ah boy wanna rape sweeties leh. 

Afternoon: joy come visiting at 猫房 – ah boy n her must be thinking “do I know u?”

as of today, got some mucus like 0.5/10 poo, Duno who, but from this room. Cos of yesterdsy Stella and chewy morsels? Omg I still order so many. Tmr onwards got to randomly feed probiotics till I can see improvement. Today probiotics given to: stitch and xiami.

• 1236pm: asked when ah boy reaching 猫房 cannot go back her place – Cos expose to virsus how to go surgery, she told me: “Oh Dr Hsu says no need surgery, if do must within 24 hours. Now he says just let him play and jump like before, nothing worse can happen. Restrictions to his movements may cause bones to fuse and limited joint movements” 

• when ah boy is back, she said dr  Hsu say 3 options and somehow conclusion is:”Deformed joint is a better option than restricting his movement now” 

• told dr d what lean said. Dr d:”That’s the absolute opposite our orthopedic surgeon says also. 

If the bone doesn’t fuse, a new joint will develop. If the cat is lucky, it will form a new joint and the broken acetabulum won’t cause too much pain. But the chances of a fully functional leg are slim. I’ve asked patrick Maguire again. This sharp ridge might cause pain. “

• dr d: “ FHO surgery on the cat I showed him the xray for – So surgery for ah boy can never make it like a normal joint, it will remove all the irregular parts on the fracture site that are hurting now and causing degenerative joint disease, it will remove the femur head that is still loose in the hip and is causing pain. This way the upper leg and hip will be able to move better without pain, but it will never be a normal joint like the other side” – understood as : Yap focus is to make sure he can still play and have life n reduce pain

• today his poo 4.5/10 – have to maintain his good form till going surgery

• tmr I got DrL plan – I did a self evaluating assessment myself today – ah boy obviously need the surgery – he is walking v v much w a limp – n the sharp point is still there so he know he is in pain

* 1110am: the moment dr b saw the xrays he say the sharp point alr rubbing the joint each time he move – sure pain – sure need surgery to at least smoothen the part where boy will rub against each time he move  – he was like? He was surprised until now surgery is not done 

* Seen dr Landon: he got touched ah boy physically and seeing him limp and move – he seem to like ah boy Cos he is a lively cat whose eyes r bright bright 🙂 

* Based on xrays, he mentioned exactly what dr d and dr p said – about the FH, about the ball joint break off fr the socket and leaving a sharp edge now. 

* I mentioned what lean said what dr Hsu said about : ignored let him play n round logic – he mentioned the different school of thoughts n also cos pple don’t want to pay for surgery so that’s a possibility that it’s not a surgery that didn’t do will cost his life, but the sharp edge each time he move will irritate his joint, his skin tissues, his etc etc – sound like next time more of seeing vet for constant pain and infection? 

* So all in all, he said FHO is an obvious ans. Exactly same as what dr d convey to me, cut off smoothen the sharp point so that when he move there isn’t something to poke him to cause pain or discomfort – the joint may fused or won’t fused 

* He mentioned extra thing that: fr xray that ah boy other side growth joint aren’t that good also, so the chance that he might hurt his other side is there also 

* He also told me to get ready a area of play pen side for Him which he alr had – room D – he needs 6 weeks or so to heal his wound w proper care

I believe the current kibble we’re on is snappy Tom (my cat loves the little anchovies) Then nv pee or poo yet. Did not eat much. Last night so active also this am in cage”
