9Am+: may alr fed them at 7am+. I come back check on them before I go zoo. Hiding in hexagon box, given bupre n doxy. I serve RC recovery can she came to eat. 

Morning: jo serve her aixia oldie she did eat but she went to eat other plate also

Today is 4th jab from last dex jab on 20.5. Tonight will give her dex jab – I forgot, sigh.

Morning: I go in for medi round for the cats. Fur still looks ok. Did drool. Gave her a/d again. 

2.93kg – gain 110g in 9 days. These 2 days I keep combing them when I can w the metal comb. 

12.28pm: Princess 5th to cut nails and clean ears. I’m not very ok w why they keep skipping oly. 🙁 sigh.

12.48pm: finally she started on oly, I see oly conditions today is so much better than norm, not sticky body other than her tail. The rest is alr better condition. Later i Subcut her do medi b4 her turn to bath. She still got to q after Princess sweetheart. 

1.49pm; assistant groomer try to brush oly fur more… cos her tail jialat. 

3.55pm: bathing. Duno the clean fur can last how many days 

4.11pm: oly jump off. Groomer says she is v dirty, put more shampoo. 

4.40pm: she go straight for Manuel blowing cos kitty occupied the machine

anyway today is third day from last dex jab (fri), Tmr will give her that.

Morning: Yesterday look ok. Today just day 2 after dr nally jab dex Im. Wa alr drooling. Erm but she is still eating.

She feels warm, so I hope dr nally take her temp 39.7 

Given dex Im in clinic. Want to put on fentalyn patch but clinic no stock. Sigh.

Today afternoon then found out jo didn’t give her bupre for 2 days + le. No wonder. Tmr I can’t make it to vet, dr Brandon dispense me 4 doses of dex for oly, so Tmr can give oly

Morning: body v dry. Mouth some saliva stain only. Today will give dex and Subcut. Eating well. 

Night: still stretch well 

7am+: drool le. Not as bad. But only 4th day of bupre. Given her Subcut, darbepoetin, b12 b com fercosang, bupre and dex. And also started her on doxy 

3pm+: she is eating off the remaining food n I serve snack round for them. Today they will see me for 3 rounds

Today seem to eat very well – good loh. I think I need top up f patch and dex. But I did give her bupre on top of f patch.

Send jo late msg to give oly bupre and her reply is:”this morning seem ok” but her tail dAmn cui. Super dry up, badly need the 19.5 grooming

11am: seem better. Stick to current plan. But the tail r horrible need to bath soon  

3pm+: I go back visit them. Mouth seem better I want slap myself forgot doxy again. active in extra food time 

9am+: serve RC renal pouch she like got eat, but manja is more keen on it. 

11am+: clinic delay and finally see dr nally, weigh 2.51kg- lose 50g in 3 days. 

Let dr jab Im dex today n I bring back 3 more doses. I’ll do every 3 days after today’s. 

Her HCT 19.1%, alr on weekly darbepoetin. 

Shark fin blood work So need to restart ab as expected. dr say Marbo I reject, I say Clav better but I’ll start doxy. But start Tmr, I forgot to give when I need her back. 

Touch on convenia/depredil like jab but not now yet. Dr nally say no to acupunture like as if 0% use, though I’m hoping for 10% useful la. 

On the topic of her diet: not that I didn’t try and waste (I’m always ok to try n throw food) Ad Kd gastro pouches RC recovery – but oly want only chunky food w meat texture – fighter. Thinking what else to help her 

12.17pm: back home to 猫房 from the vet. Serve her another meal, freeze dry w water wet it, she don’t want, she still want to eat solid food – a can of tuna. 

Put on a fentalyn patch.

Morning: so sad, yesterday jo skip night bupre n she seem ok. This morning I see her drool so bad, even w bupre still v bad. Tmr got to give dex again. and told jo have to continue the twice a day bupre. I serve snack and RC gastro – both she don’t eat. 

At expo I bought quite a lot of freeze dry and feline natural can food – mainly for her. For her to 补 ..

7am: salivating thick liquid. 

Given Subcut w dex w bupre and b12 and dabo. No more ab. Maybe I should restart one? – see first. 2.56kg – lose 420g in 18 days. Not good. Her dabo change dose to 0.065ml 20ug. 

Serve feline natural chicken and boneve salmon n chicken freeze dry – she eat.

Morning: mouth pain but still very willing to eat. Eat Aristocat. 

3pm: back to 猫房 mainly to medi her. Given Subcut, bupre and b complex. I think she needs ab. I should restart Clav for her tmr

10am: basic grooming done – clean w dry shampoo, brush and wipe. Wipe ears and eyes. Nails cut. Told them to wipe more rounds. Change her pillow case

7am: I wipe her mouth n given bupre and I go serve them small snack before their breakfast start 9+, oly came to food room to wait for food. Given her feline natural she eat. Dream that Clav is not good for her n just now I saw her nose discharge, maybe I should restart doxy cos I still feel she needs some ab. 

Night: still eating. Tmr will bring her in for the dex jab. No need consult.

10.10am: reach clinic for the dexamethasone

jab, but have to wait … she hasn’t eat but jo alr give her bupre at 9Am+. She drooling at least 4 times I alr wipe her mouth alr

10.24am: Karthik is the one who jab oly, he said that’s the slowest I’m he did. I sayang oly so she is still quite ok. I have to give her another jab on sat n I hope I can stop (that’s my plan see how) 

Night: did eat, not sure is it cos jo still give bupre or not.  

3pm+: I go back mainly for oly and to check on the rest. I throw temper (minor) at oly I know I’m v worried about her le. Front both paws thick w saliva. Drooling. What else? I’m still torn between dex and acupunture and convenia. Sigh. By logic,  convenia is more suitable butttttt n dex- rena got positive so how? To prep for dex, I stop meloxicam today and I ask clinic for 26.4 slot for dex jab, then i Subcut her for the next few days till the day for jab. If somehow clinic reply me need bloodworks or what, I’ll go for acupunture. 

8.17pm: no reply yet fr clinic cos close la. I think I’ll go for the maybe most useless but at least safe method first – acupunture

Morning: jo said yesterday she feel she give oly bupre le she eat better. Morning pain can’t eat again when I walk in. I give med and serve her a can of aixia oldie she want but she pain can’t lick. I serve a bowl of RC renal pouch she eat  

11am: wipe her mouth. Given jabs. Tmr need to Subcut le bah. Found food w her, she didn’t eat. 

2pm+: msging w junelle and I might bring oly to Bluewater Vet Acupuncture, I did think of acupuncture recent month (forgot for who, for don? For Kp? For oly?  That time even desperate think of trying dr Daniel. Knowing Dr ym cannot le… Info fr dr Dawn: “Acupuncture can be done to help pain and nausea, but the underlying dental issues cannot be resolved with acupuncture”

Morning: drool a lot, keep cleaning her. She didn’t eat much when i serve gim + aixia oldie. She go hide under the bench n I serve another RC renal pouch she try to take big bite. 

Today done Subcut w lots of jabs. 

Today up her bupre to twice a day. Have to tell jo and mmm help oral bupre for her at night 

Night: she drink fr bowl at the sink 

I’m a bit worried about her kidneys now 

Morning: did eat, poo overnight. 

When I reach, I let her out of o2 cage. Don’t think it help much. I prefer her to roam n happy. But she drool a lot, I wipe her mouth for more than 8 times. Today given the meds and I clean her ears one more time. Tmr onwards will skip for some days cos I think pain killer is more urgent. Today given bupre still cos I put on a f patch on her left ear today. Hope she will feel much better 

5.18pm: mmm send me photo that oly is sitting in the black wheel. Resting 🙂  

9pm; go back see them sayang round … mmm alr finished feeding them lights off le. Duno oly got eat or not but she is hiding in the cat box on floor, didn’t look ok. Think I need to consider (while I’m thinking of the old goods depredil) pred for her, Tmr I got to check whether I have pred injectable – I think no cos expired. Ask clinic how much

7am; mmm:”1 box had to move up to create slope for Oly to walk down.  She is salivating badly.”

Still salivating a lot, mmm serve them food at 6+am, after I finish medi at 8am, I serve snacks again w aixia oldie, she got eat. 

I did check: her patch still on. 

Clinic only reply me after I ask about her pred jab again. But no news again.

5.00pm; I ask about the dexa again. hope to get by Tmr then wed I can give her the jab. 

8.36pm: until now no news on the cost of 2 x 0.14ml jabs that they r wiling to dispense instead of one bottle. Sigh can’t be spending on things that last 4 days only? If going to jab more won’t make sense mah. 100ml cost $260 I think is high. Ha 0.28ml only 70 cents, think they will 50 times mark up? sigh. 

Ask dr d for help esp now is the non respond, oly need med. sigh. – dr d Away on medical leave. Sigh.

8am: Re dex: while I’m waiting aimlessly for cost cos need to lalamove etc n the illogical 4 days logic vs a potential $85 cost and need more top up, dex isn’t really in my mind anymore. 

Dr d fed me extra info: “be careful with dex then eh, i remember there was suspicion abces. Meloxicam – have to stop if give dex eh, but you know already. clinda might work better if abces but also oral… marbo wont work if abces. afraid to say but convenia might be good. cefalosporines can be very effective” –

For periodontal issue which is oly gum issue. I keep saying i don’t think she can last till xmas party. N I’m against convenia cos of the potential effects … so worth a try since I don’t think oly can last without extra med now 

Re: convenia: “maybe start few days sc fluids 50-70 ml once daily for 3-4 days, then convenia” – dr d told me this after I told her I’ll consider cos logically have to. 

8am+: I Subcut her w plain fluid today, w bupre n w the f patch still on. Still drool but she eats.

10.05am: dr nally: “..yes this Dex 2mg/ml is what I will dispense. It’s 0.14ml every 2nd day, using low dose antiinflammatory first for 2 doses. That is ~$28 for 2 syringes” – mark up 40x but cost is totally ok. But more of the 2 syringes then 4 days later how? so I told her I’m more inclined to don’t want anymore cos the fact I ask since last sat. Alr not keen n still wait so I sianz le. see how. I feel she needs a bath more. N just now she is sitting w rena. I feel maybe dex will be good for her cos it works well for rena. Sigh. Think more see how

Morning: still drool a lot. Most wooden platform she sit on got stain n thrown today major cleaning day. Lie new mat under bench but she sleep in the pink basket. Given the jabs. After the f patch is off I’ll give higher dose  bupre only. Her front paws looks v dirty, mouth nose area also, fr all the salivating n tail also. But why tail? I use dry shampoo help her soften some and some up a bit. 

Morning: drooling a lot a lot. Today Subcut w darbepoetin etc playlet better I think. Hate ear cleaning kick till ear bleed. Did eat but don’t like RC recovery can food. 

2.98kg – lose another 120g in 2 days 

TAken blood from left hind leg she is angry but i sayang her she know I’m ard. Dr Nally don’t want to take fr her jacular. 

To test for Cbc, lytes. 

21.3% HCT went up, and k is now 5.2 maybe I can cut the potassium in bag alr, or just give her the Subcut w kcl less frequent. 

I’ll continue my Clav. N just see dr nally says what about Marbo and what else to add on. Bupre will be daily. And waiting for ears results.  

both ears still got yeast. But bacteria clear le. So change yeast med for the ears. And give more high protein food. And Marbo give another 2 weeks till 22.4, dose change to 0.41ml. Dr nally says review in 2 weeks. won’t bring her for review in 2 weeks. Maybe 1 month see how

Morning: eating ok. 3.26kg – lose 110g in 1 week. Subcut her w kcl and med. bleed a lot. Fresh blood dripping. Have to cut her frequency of Subcut

Morning: today don’t look ok. Only jab her w melo and Marbo she alr bleed. Fresh blood. Like this how to counter the anemic. skip her ear cleaning today. Today finish the first course of doxy. Will start her on one more course of doxy. nose wet, clean her nose and mouth. Mouth discharge is Still drooling. Tmr I think I’ll put her in cage 02 for o2. 

Morning: rub her w oommi dry shampoo and brush her -body a little fresher esp the tail v dirty. I think a bit overwhelmed for her. She looks so pale. Alr given Subcut w kcl n darbepoetin combo today. Ear drops is a fight. I have to hug her she is so stress over it, she kick till her right ear bleed. Have to calm her down, cos i so scare she die of shock/ agitation. 

Morning: she didn’t eat. Bad. Today continue her on Marbo doxy treatment and today start Subcut w kcl 

I clean her ears, clean quite a lot of stuff out of the right ears. She looks really pale. Given Subcut w kcl. And I bring her a plate of food w ff, and she did eat like big mouth full for a while only, but not even 30% finished. Mouth definitely seem in pain, did drool. Salivating. I give her a bupre jab. tmr will give her darbepoetin b12 b complex combo. 

Give oommi probiotics spray on her fur, rub a little on her 

Night; can scratch sb. But jo photos didn’t show she eat 

Morning: seem dr nally for checking status cos I know she got new issue – her right ear. 

3.37kg – lose 40g in 5 days. 

Mouth bad got smell but she cannot ga

Got heart mur mur – grade 2 heart mur mur – August took probnp – normal but confirm got heart issue now. But HCT out her 18.3% anemic will be the cause. So may not be heart problem. 

Right ear v bad, I see got pus like which i know yesterday got issue. Got blood also. Dr nally says maybe left side got yeast then will be same issue as manja. Taken both ears sample to go testing. Ok her issue same as manja, to be same thing 14 days each. Cos she also know oly is difficult. I ask for a ear cleaning in clinic for both ears now. Go back i continue again. Dr Nally clean the left ear, Amanda clean the right ear. But I need to put the meds on my own.

Take bloods for Cbc chem15 for the phos I worry about her kidney cos on melo. Lytes and fiv felv test. 

So oly need any ab? – need Marbo. 

Her HCT 18.3% today. Bad despite darbepoetin. have to start something more. She says Marbo. But I think I’ll try give doxy as well. Her k is low 3.4%, so I got to supplement that. Still fiv positive only. Oly crea 1.3 but she says false low I understand, but still low enough mah, but nvm I ok to take sdma cos she is on meloxicam. Sdma 14 high normal. Ok la. Blood smear show she confirmed anemic n playlet low which I alr know. No mention of blood parasite but I think will have siak so I start doxy. 

Back in 猫房, she eat immediately. given doxy and Marbo n bupre. Tmr then Subcut w kcl. 

Put meds for her ears. The way she angry a Little  scary like will 断气 anytime. She need to review in 2 weeks mainly for Cbc

10am+: looks dry. Will Subcut today as well. Today given darbepoetin b12 b complex also. Bleed quite a bit after done

Oly 21.12.24 sat 

2pm+: last round of basic grooming, brush fur, clean ears, cut nails. I help to hold only cut hind legs which is quite short. Front all not cut 

9Am+: body condition not that good cos wet w saliva. But she did eat. Subcut w meloxicam and bupre. Think her fever start again. She can’t do dental. So I gonna keep her comfy n happy for the days ahead 

9pm+: mmm:”Wants tummy rubs. Then bite me”

Morning: given her Subcut, darbepoetin b12 b com n fercosang 

1030am: see dr Brandon 

4.07kg – lose 190g in 1 month 

Taken bloods for Cbc from her hind leg cos she is extremely tensed at her neck, she scare till she shit out smelly 4.5/10 – later come back to see results 

He saw her last blood b4 dental sx, he thinks ok to do the dental. He says today mouth didn’t look that imflammed(cos I give Clav n meloxicam mah)   

Reach home, given her meloxicam. 

12.03pm: oly result not out yet. Need to know if she can stop Clav or not. 

HCT 25.7%, NEU 1.08 (really low, dr b thinks is her fiv end stage cause the issue) so means oly is ending soon. But I’ll still treat her anemic, will give darbepoetin 1ug/kg. Can stop Clav cos just don’t feel any use to it. She can’t do dental anyway anymore. 

1pm+: poo 5/10 

She looks happy today. Got roll over let me play w her 

2pm+: poo 4/10 love rhe new sb cat sofa i assemble

9am+: i settle 猫房 cat, she keep meowing for food so poor thing I can’t give her. Sayang her told her I didn’t miss out her but she come back from dental can eat. 

11Am+: once I got the bloodworks I send to dr d. 

D:”Leucopenia…. That’s not good to do surgery. High risk complications” 

“It’s your choice but normally my advise with leucopenia is recheck fiv felv, and then antibiotics 2-3 wks to see if recover” – so to continue Clav till 8.12.24 but I don’t think dr d got slot, so means ongoing till dental. 

“If the immune system is down, very high chance healing won’t go well. 3 wks then recheck, can be at animal world. If wbc normal, continue ab till surgery. Can do with other vet if you need it done earlier. Give immune support supplement. Proboost or whatever you have. Probiotics. And Amox clav daily yes. And Amox clav daily yes” 

11Am+: back to 猫房, serve food w probiotics she eat some n stop. mix in another can w the probiotics n let her eat again. I have to find proboost. Given Subcut w bupre Clav n b12. 

5pm+: I’m back w sena. She excited cos she want food: belly rub. N love bite me

Morning: Didn’t give Subcut n meloxicam today, try to alternate day le. Given Clav n bupre. Monday she will go for dental.

Morning: she can still eat a lot. Today Subcut her n given Clav n bupre n Inform her later I’ll be back again she will stay cage 01 for quarantine Tmr dental. And I serve her another plate after Subcut she eat again.

5.30pm: serve food first, eat for sure. put her in cage 01 – Continue to eat . told mmm help me remove food / kibble at night. She didn’t want to be in cage, but got a sb, chillier then sena. 

5.27pm: dr d asked me want do bloods for oly or not, I reply I’m not sure, She need? “Up to you. I am ok if you don’t want to do but of course it is very nice to know. But it’s also another 200 sgd” – I’m ok to do bah but then, I wonder if do Cbc cjem10, is there anything that  would abort the plan for dental? Or I should save that money for her post dental check up. Waiting for dr d next reply to decide 

6.43pm: dr d:”If in kidney or liver failure cancel. If severe anemia cancel” – she won’t be la. 

“If moderate changes, can change the anaesthetic protocol, different meds” – Since will have diff to the ga protocol, then do it 

“I’m gonna be cautious with anesthesia as always. Some drugs are metabolised by liver. Some by kidney. If there are changes for these organs, I can adjust”

When I Subcut her, still drool, but realise the very dirted stricken hind legs fur that drool stick patch no more, maybe she lick it out le.

1012am: given Subcut, bupre n meloxicam Clav. Waiting for her turn to groom. Told her pretty next week dental 🙂 

11.08am: second to groom. not very cooperative in cutting nails. want to clean ears and she keep using her hind leg to kick her own ears. V itchy la – esp right ear much more itchy. 

11.31am: degrease done, waiting to be bath 

11.57am: oly out fr bath, going to dry, she bite her (think nip only) oly did hiss thru out 

12.12pm: done. N I saw she dig her left ear again. 

1.11pm: call her and she look out sayang – she confirm feel comfy and pretty

6pm+: i go back do medi and see them. Didi meow me for food. Snacks many rounds for him and oly got eat too

12pm+: mouth v pain. Today more pain. Discover got ulcer on her tongue alr. Still eating. Dental must happen w o tube. 

Fr google: “Treatment of mouth inflammation and ulcers in cats initially begins with pain control and anti-inflammatory medication.” – she is alr on bupre and meloxicam. Today started Clav to prepare her for 18.11 dental. 

7am+: I went in for medi round n serve them some snack. Still eating still drooling – Erm didn’t see the drool but the bottom mouth all sticky wet. Given bupre also

5pm+: mouth very dirty. Pain but still my Manja girl and eating ok. Given her bupre and meloxicam and put on a f patch for her – she shake off wa I smack her ah. But got sayang n talk to her. Sigh. She needs to be on bupre Liao. no more f patch anymore also

Morning: major cleaning round. Told her 18.11 I’m sending her to dental. Come back can eat and I go to tube can treat her better. 

4pm+: back to 猫房 to see the cats. Oly mouth looks bad. Legs front n back also black so is mouth v pain. If I send in a cat for dental confirm is  her. Now is Should send sena too? 

Given her coconut oil she will still groom herself

Morning: told dr d that obviously oly needed a dental more than sena.  

Day: did feel that her fur is Chang Chang also. Subcut her n given meloxicam and coconut oil. Thinking to let her sub in to sena dental slot. But how about her weird problem? Erm. But she is eating … will decide again maybe 3 Nov 

Day: given her meloxicam jab as usual

Morning: start salivating, mouth pain le. But she is covered for ai le, today should give bupre maybe? But she is eating 🙂 

4.32kg – gain 70g in 1 month. Subcut n meloxicam given n apply gaba cream for her

12pm+: mouth more wet. Think mouth v pain. Given Subcut and b12 n bupre 

8.55pm: started her ecoco coconut oil 1ml, will struggle cos feed orally but didn’t don’t like the taste

11Am+: i go back for medi round. Sayang her. Today intended to skip bupre one, she look like can’t. Still Subcut her n give bupre. her issue is still unknown. 3 near thousands bills each and vet can’t say what’s her issue. 4.47kg – lose 50g in 3 days

11am+: Subcut her very long today cos drip flow so slow, told her can’t cut amt Tmr ah mao not ard. Max up treatment today

9.23pm: mmm“Didn’t eat” – that’s why Duno what’s wrong w oly. The vets who had seen her no clue. So see another one? Dr Brandon?

4pm+: I’m back for medi round. I’ll take it 2nd day not eating again. Round 4 down again.

Subcut and given and put on a f patch.

9Am+: didn’t show me she is active. But I go belly rub her she let me do it. Serve food got eat.

11Am+: i almost feel like not bringing her to vet Tmr. Or just go? Later I go check her last bloods. I need to buy painkillers 

Night; mmm”Ate 1 serving. Gave second n just a few licks”

Seen dr Brandon n told him the following:”Bloodworks always nothing significant but somewhere pain. Duno where pain. 

Fpli also negative 

Pro bnp also negative 

Frusta also negative 

If on bupre f patch she is better if not she will be off. Oh meloxicam n Clav better so how? “

Dr Brandon press her throughly to cHeck her neck, her spine, her joints to see where she might be pain. 

N noted all the meds n bloodworks done b4 n it’s recurring, so he reco: 

So to continue forever meloxicam 0.04ml (he say he will go up to 0.13ml) cos she did have some pain here n there in whole body (he choose meloxicam over cartropheng) 

Dr see the mouth n also say he don’t think the mouth got that big issue 

If melo don’t work, next round maybe X-rays and more checks. 

Retest fiv felv, still fiv positive only (bright dot) 

1pm+: back to 猫房. Given her meloxicam. 

11Am++: 4.52kg- gain 50g in 3 days. Subcut n given med. Clav n meloxicam will stop today. 

Given b12 today also. 

2pm+: im back again to medi the cat. Tmr can’t see them. Subcut oly n given jabs. 4.47kg – gain 30g in 1 week 

11Am+: 4.44kg – gain 20g in 4 days. Continue med. now give alternate bupre 

11Am: i don’t feel she is ok. Didn’t eat when I serve, i let her roam, got poo 5/10. But 8.20am: mmm”Good morning. I gave snack at 630. Yesterday morning n night also early. All are so hungry. I remembered to give those on top. Oly ate whole can of salmon. I didn’t top up kibbles in case you’re washing plates” – so

2pm+: no change in weight. Subcut and she bleed quite a lot. No more fever. V angry poke butt. 37.2. Put on f patch. Serve her aixia kin GNt – 5 dark blue she eat. Let her roam le.

Day: check: sigh the f patch disappear le. Kns. Waste money. I give bupre onwards today. 

10am+: i didn’t feel that she eat very well 

Her f patch still on but should be useless le. Given her a bupre jab as well 

6pm+: I went out to buy a new thermometer for her. I’m sure her fever is down, but just take bah 

Night: got eat tuna w small white fish, but still didn’t eat well

7am+: still feel she a little sian. Appetite aren’t that good. Bupre. Tmr I try to put a new f patch n release her. Poo fine. 

11Am+: got pee colour ok in bin. Means she don’t know how to go to that gap for bin, bin must be in open then she know how to use 

5.42pm: I double confirm w dr d that I’ll delete oly dental from my 10.9.24 schedule – her reply “I would for sure yes, first we need this to heal. Otherwise her mouth and her neck hurt and we can’t put o tube. Don’t risk it” 

Night; jo let her out. She poo 5/10 look dark. Didn’t eat the vitakraft carrot apple 

7.17am. Dr d:”I think oly has abscess or something in the neck area… I checked the xray yesterday, Yeumee will contact you today” – same area that dr ym mention yesterday. 

“I honestly don’t know what that is. And there seems to be air under the skin. It would make sense to sit with neck bent forward, like Yeumee said, if something painful there. Foreign body is possible also” – I ask about m/c again. Cos that’s the only foreign object I can think of that’s in her 

“It’s not from microchip.

First it started 1.5 month later

Second the microchip is completely different location visible on xray, and no sign of inflammation there. If it’s foreign, it looks like it came through the esophagus, as the location is there” – so back to unknown case. Don’t even think she can do dental cos if need o tube how to put one when she has issue w neck/ oesophagus. 

8am+: i go 猫房 do med, mmm says she gave oly 2/3 can at 6am+ cos she know how to press sos. 

She pee and poo on the new cushion again. Oh ya yesterday I forgot to log that she didn’t poo pee at all in bin, she pee on cushion. So total I throw 2 cushions. Don’t give her cushion anymore. I shifted out the unicharm bin. See how again Tmr. 

Confirm not that pain now can scruff but see sat/ sun when f patch wear off. 

8.25am: dr d “If this stays, 100% advise not to do dental” – is that the reason why yesterdsy clinic send me 10.9 dental is confirmed n after that they delete the msg. Nvm I also got to kiv oly status 

9.26am: dr d “I would add marbo. I would hit it with 4mg/kg but then shorter duration. Start with 5, if no improvement stop. If improvement, 10-14 days” – told dr d oly alr improve after 1 day of f patch and meloxicam. 

“So basically confirmed it’s infection somewhere. And seeing as the neck so painful and weird thing on xray, most likely abscess there” – so I ask still add on Marbo? 

“If you done this treatment before and then relapse, yes add marbo. I didn’t see the medical hx. How long previous tx? So if cause of abscess is still inside body, like something foreign, it won’t get better with meds only” – ans dr d that’s it’s 10 days Clav and 3 days meloxicam for the fever (2.8.24 fever is 39.5, see dr ym on 27.8 is 40.5 degree) 

10.14am: dr d: “Meloxi anti inflammatory, give long. Ideally: scope, ultrasound neck and or ct scan. If can not: at least 21 days Amox clav and meloxi, 14 days marbo. 99.99% no dental next month.” – I ask U/s neck need sedate right?

“Yeumee said too painful so yes” – but I inform Yesterday alr back to her self

“Or maybe with gabapentin and butorphanol can try. Fentanyl. So the microchip is on her back behind shoulder blades, I don’t think is cause. But I honestly don’t know. That thing on xray is weird. Otherwise only way is to cut out under sedation. I’ve seen once abscess after microchip but that is 2-3 days after placing” – Erm she mention m/c – ha think she also start to suspect m/c might still be possible a cause. Cos oly got no issue B4 I bring her out for all the certs and m/c 

4pm+ “Good afternoon Ms Wu, CM here from Pet Space. Just wanted to inform you that the uricult for Oly has no growth and no colour change observed.”

7.40pm: mmm”Oly is in mood to eat today. 2 plus I gave 1 can salmon. He finished already. Just activated sos” 

8am+: i enter 猫房 she is ok, but not as lively. Will meow me for food. Got eat. But only 50%. 

10am+: omg cctv ruin. Drop into her water bowl I change another one. 

11Am+: she play w me like her old self. My cute oly, send clinic to clinic and dr ym. 

Given Subcut meloxicam and Clav. 

1pm+: b4 I leave i still give her another plate of food 

9.16pm: jo”Good to see her so lively n good appetite 😺”

10.42pm: mmm”I went to check on Oly. Plate empty, gave her 2/3 can if Aristo salmon. She was eating very fast. Balance gave to Didi” 

10.54pm; dr ym inform she forgot to charge for fruto so omg the bill even scarier then. “Btw, I forgot to mention that UPC was normal and fructosamine low normal, so can confirm not diabetic. Probably stress/pain.” – so I reply Noted. Yap so her case is still unknown pain. Other than dental. 

Dr ym: “Very likely an infection. But where is the question, I was reviewing X-rays again and there might be something here that might be causing an issue, maybe a fragment from clavicle? Where my pointer is. Couldn’t feel the area cos she was so painful but maybe could be a trigger of pain and infection. Not sure. Have to see if antibiotics control the infection. Does she feel feverish?” – she feel not as hot but today didn’t get chance to measure cos I don’t have ky jelly and also Tmr I too rush. Can only measure on Fri. I go post for help to buy the jelly first. Oh ya I forgot to log yesterdsy she is 40.5*. 

8am+: rush in take oly to see Dr ym. Journey is really long, 9.45am then reach. 

Think her neck area also swollen means her mouth really that bad? 

She definitely feel hot. 

So Imflammed somewhere.

While waiting for dr ym, I think this is the treatment for sure, Subcut, meloxicam, Clav and bupre. Let’s see anymore findings for today. 

11.12am: finish seeing dr ym for consult. She agree not just dental pain, but somehow oly below mouth area is pain / swollen. So she think may b she fell and spine/ neck injured. She didn’t ask for xray so I ask for it, she mention cos she worry oly might not sit or won’t have a good shot. I say ok to do at least if something obvious can be seen. 

Dr ym can’t see her mouth at all. Toooooo pain. She say will try f patch cos stronger. And she will give a bupre jab here first (i ok cos I know she needs that for her to at least can control her more for the X-rays) 

10.9 appt dental is on, I think during that time need to check her spine/ neck also. 

Treatment as planned. Cos the only change dr ym wants is iv

And urasyn ab which I told her I can’t commit thrice per day to give her that.  

Bloodworks all out, I spend one big round doing all over again everything and add on more. 

Xrays show nothing, at least spine no issue. So still maybe Is mouth so bad so bad at the back till it affects the nerves till the neck. 

Rbc go up a little but HCT still 34% fr 25 days ago.  Upc 0.17 ok. 

glu high like the previous time stress cos pain – I even test fruto also normal. 

But her alt had been low, cancer is my thoughts. 

Urine is cloudy so dr ym think is lost of protein in urine, but there is blood but she think is from the poke. 

So conclusion is today other than I know her spine no issue n she no diabetic, no diff to what I already know and will do if today didn’t come clinic. Omg I’m dead the bill is damn high. Should I learn to hack a little more about the cats and cut cost? 

1pm+: Back to 猫房, super rush mode, Subcut n bupre given at clinic so I give Clav only and put her in cage 01 for monitoring w o2. Stupid me forgot meloxicam so later I go back give again. Serve 3 food, not keen at all. She is resting. Let her rest. 

3pm: I’m back to give her meloxicam jab. Didn’t touch food yet. Resting. 

Sent oly info to dr d (particularly I mention:

and she reply “discospondylitis” – I don’t think so but the symptoms maybe matched and [Feline discospondylitis is uncommon and no obvious signalment predisposition was found in this study. N o tube cos neck affecting? – she reply “not if you think she is going to die. i wouldnt know how mouth pain can cause neck pain. esophagitis? trial omeprazole”  – so I’ll just take it as 10.9 is on unless need to cancel, omeprazole is oral no way I can give so this is out for now. – [Signs of esophagitis include regurgitation, drooling, difficulty or repeated swallowing, pain, depression, loss of appetite, and extension of the head and neck. 5.04pm: she is sleeping. Pain killer should kick in alr 

Dr ym want her to review 3-5 days which I sure will skip la. No time also. Today I think Duno which dog or the cab I allergy to, I’m sick now Liao. Jialat  

7.20pm: she eat get up to eat like 15% of a can of food 🙂

Morning: serve food oly still hiding didn’t eat. Maybe should check again? Not just dental issue? 

Don’t eat at all. I serve her again. Given bupre and b12 jab.

I asked jo on her view on whether she think oly will die overnight:”Dunno but I got check with mmm she told me maybe she doesn’t like todays favor smoke salmon” – I know isn’t food issue.

I retrace record, she did turn better that time 2.8.24 (bloods works etc nothing significant, just fever and dental?) – then do well after 3 days meloxicam and clavs. then second episode of not ok start, I gave bupre she stabilising w bupre, one day I skip bupre she not ok, but generally ok. But 24.8 I feel not ok, but night mmm says she eat one can. 25.8 also don’t look quite ok but jo says she eat. Today she make pple scare. I cancel Tmr cleaning cos most prob gonna rush her to dr yeumee if dr ym is in. If dr ym not in, I’ll restart Clav, restart meloxicam. Bupre n Subcut 

7am: I can’t find her initially I scare me 

I Subcut her and give bupre – I ask dr d any update on the dental

11am+: 4.42kg gain 40g in 22 days. But she still got issue. Pain. I pull her down to weigh she bite me but not pain. Give bupre jab 

9.32pm: mmm”Oly ate 1 full can of aristo salmon” 

6/7am+: oly look ok I still give bupre. Maybe Tmr can skip.

Wipe body, brush fur, cut nails and clean ears.

9.30pm: mmm”I finished feeding n only 6 half plates left. All others are clean. Even Oly ate whole can”. Given bupre again.

7am+: she looks good, i still gave her a bupre jab. Tmr I’ll skip and see how.

9/10am+: day 01 I skip bupre. 

Night: petspace send msg saying the appt I book for oly dental 10.9 is off cos dr d not working so I can only be on waiting list in oct. I reply noted

11Am+: she didn’t come down so I only skip one day of bupre n she can’t take it. 

I asked dr d about the rest of the dental cats no need review ? She said preferably yes n I ask her how when even oly dental is cancelled due to her no slot. She go n settle for me so now oly dental appt ???? 

Morning: I went back for medi round. Tao chase after oly n oly run back to squeeze w Sunny. I jab her she ok will come to me. 

9.05pm; mmm”Bessie and sweet heart ate. Buddy didn’t. Oly ate”

7/8am+: she didn’t look better but at least she is in the open. Saw her eat kibble and I give her pain meds and I serve her some RC renal pouch she got eat.

Analysing oly med. she is on Clav for sometime no much use, will stop as per plan 15.8 for her first episode of down. Meloxicam today given 3rd day so also stop. Clav I’ll restart on 7.9 before dental. I will continue bupre and Subcut.

9Am+: behave normally and can meow at me for food. But didn’t eat. When I rub her above the cage she meow and as usual bite me play. But she didn’t eat. 

9am+-11Am+: she is up there, i almost scare she die. Something so wrong? She didn’t move didn’t eat. I pull her down she angry. So pain? I Subcut her and given bupre n meloxicam n Clav. 

Night; fr jo photo, oly didn’t look better. but there is no findings fr the vet. Erm. Tmr can only continue pain killer treatment 

7am+: i did feel she is weird, at the big sofa near tap. Still better that the fever day but she did feel weird. 

This is confirm when jo msg me at 9.29am:”Oly sian sian” – maybe really pain. But why? Really mouth? I alr schedule her dental in sept 

Later go back need to remember to give her a bupre jab also. checked her record on 2/3.8.24 again, just 10 days ago only. So fast she is down again. Think she needs meloxicam for her mouth too. Later give her these 2 after taking her latest weight. 

10.49am: I doubt she ate. Omg I need to buy more quarantined boxes. like such case oly should be quarantined but today all mine need to be used for the 3 dentals cats 

5/6pm: we rush back 猫房. She is hiding in one of the small cube box, looks in pain. Touch her I almost think she will bite me cos in pain. Carry her she is in pain somewhere, mouth? Still don’t think so leh. Anyway she needs painkiller. given bupre 0.18ml and meloxicam 0.03ml jabs. 

9.30pm: mmm:”Try so many. Swf n salmon. Got lick little” – at least she eat le. Means she is in pain. Bupre working 

Mmm:”I went in before 6am. Few hungry cats. I gave Oly a can of SWF. He was walking around n meowed at me.Last night’s plate was totally cleaned” – she didn’t finish. 

7am+: I’m in she is happy and she is herself rub roll let me sayang. didn’t pee. No poo also. 

Subcut and medi done. Given b12 also. She is ok w medi also

Morning: pee a lot alr, darker colour. Losing blood in urine? I don’t think so. Or just pee too much. Back to normal self. Today last day of meloxicam. then maybe I can release her le. Eating ok, not great just becoming more picky on food? Did poo but in sb, scale 5/10. 

Release le and she quite excited walk about and go back to above the cage to play w me. So Tmr can stop Subcut too. I’ll continue Clav for total 10 days and b12 will do

7.30am: wa like that expenses go up a lot. I need to cut their first meal food. Mmm:”1 can each given to Oly, mamabaibai, Didi. 1 can shared by manja, tao n jack. 1 can shared by jr,  sweetheart cora n Charmander.“

7am+: clear up 猫房 and serve food, oly is on bench. V weird. serve food didn’t eat at all. Not keen at all. I touch her she is in pain? She fell? Is it bullied by junior? She injured? She felt warm. Subcut her w bupre. 

8am+: put her in cage 01 w o2. 

10.36am: mmm”Big eyes n not moving, I open door n he moved.First time he see food n not eating. First time he see food n not eating”

Trace back to 1.8.24 Thu, fr 3.04pm she is on the usual cage top, still can stretch. not fights or bully. She walk to a food plate (didn’t eat, did smell), then she jump down to off cam. 

3.23pm: she appear at tv room, want to jump up the bench and consider or evaluating? 

3.25pm: she did jump up (looks v smooth no issue leh) to sleep beside Kitty, that’s the spot same as today. so is internal pain, got a feeling is pancreatitis. But still worried is external wound or spine.  

3.30pm: manage to fly her to aw see dr Nally to do checks. 4.38kg – lose 400g in 1.5 months. temp 39.9. Confirm fever, dr nally says pain can have fever too. Pain from dental? I still doubt so, I think more likely pancreatitis (but they got to borrow fpli again) though her mouth really pain when she try to see. Bad like in June. No tumor no ulcers. 

Dr nally physical check; no issue w bladder, as in normal bladder, she didn’t feel any issue offhand w the organs. 

No heart mur mur. 

Unknown always end up checking more stuff: take Cbc chem15 sdma lytes, fpli w spec, full UA. 

Cbc: HCT 31.9%, but most prob lesser cos she is still dehydrated. No harm Subcut. 

No kidney issues, can give meloxicam 0.03ml (will ask how many days for fever) 

The rest insignificant. 

UA: also nothing much. 

4.12pm: waiting for results. For now, is fever and mouth pain issue. 

4.40pm: fpli also normal. Not pancreas. So just pain from mouth???? Wa ask dr d for sept slots le. To start Subcut, Clav and meloxicam (3 days) and bupre. To check whether she can pee later on or not / poo. She did Checked got poo coming but not constipated. 

Urine also rule out UTI. 

Pro bnp result: also negative. 

Oly information all sent to dr d: “Usually not really fever from mouth though unless severe abscess” – but she didn’t have severe abscess. I’ll bring her back 猫房 Clav and meloxicam and bupre again first. 

519pm: Dr d:”It’s not likely mouth… but can’t rule out” “Starting flu is for sure an option so monitor for that” 

5.35pm: rush her back 猫房. Given bupre Clav bupre. Serve ff and tuna w pumpkin, she got try to lick both. Safe for tonight 

8pm+: the food I gave didn’t touch further. Jo serve new plate, she start eating.

Night: she took off her clothes again, wipe her  , apply silvin cream too. Wear blue dress. 

10am: patch more, clean her up, put on new dress cos she tear the other out 

Morning: keep eating non stop from kibble to wet food. Mouth drooling is bad.

Night; first she don’t eat, alr weird, 2nd poo 0.5/10 but not really poo but mucus? 3rd she vomit some liquid – didn’t see food. Tmr serve her Soft food and probiotics and see how. Just last week vet check she is fine

1030am: seen dr ym, given her all info on Oly. She first time know Oly got those skin lesions n now is pretty good. 

Told her is mouth pain – her mouth looks relatively ok, other than lots of saliva, maybe Oly got Low pain tolerance

Can try one off Dexa like rena, but recheck cbc, her liver function cos last time thats her problem when she is on steroid for her skin problem

Given 0.5ml dexa cos bloodworks is good – this might help mouth, skin or any other possible issue. 

Sdma 12, glob 60, why both Oly n Princess alkp < 10? No meaning? 

HCT 34.6, but retic is 63.2, internal bleeding? Dr ym only mention she don’t see why retic is high, but this retic I need monitor. 

If I’m letting Oly go for dental sx, have to let her start Clav one week or more in advance b4 dental.

* Associated w ibd and lymphoma. Biopsy is out of the story so w ab n enzymes, but Oly is multi resistent so try steroid – pred 5mg daily for 2-4 weeks – I tap down myself see how. Review in 4 weeks unless I see deem fit

* Thickening of intestine which is common for cats w diarrrhoea

• d:”Exocrine pancreas insufficiëncy or ibd/allergy still very very possible. Ruled out viral and bacterial abn, and parasites now. So at least the amikacin didn’t destroy the intestinal bacteria. So ibd can get indication of that on regional ultrasound (thickening of parts of the gut more prominent). diagnosis only with biopsy. Treatment would be b12, hypoall diet . If not working enough: add on corticosteroid, can start with pred. Once effective can change to budesonide with less side effects. So regional will mean she does the intestinal tract and pancreas and lymf nodes. But she almost always scans everything, if any major abnormality she will mention. But then she won’t measure kidney etc. Lot cheaper though… The part that fits more with epi than ibd is the good appetite, but ibd still possible. Epi can only diagnose with bloods”

• dr d replied on my qn re Oly: “It’s not that I don’t think there is no tumor underneath, maybe I didn’t say this clearly. But there is so much infection on top of it, I can’t find any evidence of it. That’s why we need to clear the infection first, and that’s why I needed review so badly. I’m pretty sure the clindamycin is not working anymore as it was stopped too early last time, without review. If we take out a piece of skin that infected all around it, very high chance it won’t close due to the infection. And the itching will definitely open up the skin. So these cats need to wear e collar 24-7 (and then still they can open the wound sometime). Otherwise we can’t even try. Need to go back to the twice daily apoquel and most likely will need a culture to check for antibiotic sensitivity again. Every time we stop an antibiotic too early, we potentially have made the bacteria resistant. And then once we have the infection under control, needs to come to review to see if there is something left that we need to remove or biopsy. We might need to add Gabapentin to suppress the licking also but she really really needs regular reviews”

• I gave dr d the full summary of Oly after giving her today Video

• “That looks like either skin lymfoma or resistant bacterial infection. Will need further testing for sure. Maybe also have to take X-ray to see if anything painful inside there (if that hasn’t been done yet) Problem with removing that patch of skin; many many cats will continue to bite that same spot, and then the wound will never heal. Have to do multiple surgeries then, e collar, it’s a nightmare. Sometimes they bite the same spot due to neurological pain, so sometimes gaba can help. It could be tumor, esp if not healing with meds. Up to you, but removing that patch can turn into nightmare of having to close it up again and again. So e collar need to happen, t shirt. Gaba to give 10-20 mg/kg twice daily for this. Have to have culture again. Bandage on that location will very likely not stay as can’t hold on to anything. I think we need to remove it, but if she keeps biting the sutures: nightmare. But ideally: first culture and X-ray. Then take away and send off for histology to see if tumor or what. I’ve seen cases like this where it turned out to be psychogenic, but also seen allergies this bad. And also tumors.”

• “I think it’s fair to say the bacteria are most likely secondary to something else: either deep infection or allergy or tumor or whatever. Allergy can still be, cuz only 50% of cats actually respond to apoquel. Ok, so I would like to take biopsy of that patch, and I think the best way is to remove it. But have to find a way to stop her from biting it, otherwise night mare. Need full ga. And can only do surgery if you find a way to stop biting. Otherwise it will end in a big big nightmare. Do not do surgery if you can’t protect the wound for healing. Maybe can use the Gabapentin also as a sedative, to relax her a bit. The chance of complications after surgery are very high, especially wound not healing. The skin is not healthy and if she keeps biting: it will open up with major complications. 

Surgery and sending off won’t be cheap also eh…. probably around 800-1000. Not including bacterial culture.”

• “But need to cut the entire tissue, not just remove the outer part. And that won’t be a solution if you don’t remove it all. She will just continue tearing it out. So try gaba 10-20 mg/kg twice daily first with t shirt. If can stop from biting, then consider removal. But just removing top layer won’t help at all, she was biting there before the loose bit so she will continue biting. If we remove the top bit only, she will damage it badly after. Have to clean underneath daily. Just clean with saline for now. It needs to be removed at some point most likely ah”

• “Tmr we could do X-ray if you want. I think the black stuff is a crust but can’t say for sure. If crust: it needs to drop off. If you want me to see if can remove the crust with local: can try tmr. But the wound will need protection 100% sure. Please give 100 mg Gabapentin to oli 2 hrs before consult tmr. If I can remove, will be easier if slightly relaxed”

Yah, so most said to give pred to stop the itch. But I’m a bit afraid to give while we can’t kill the bacteria. But all agree: have to stop the itch. And apoquel not working enough. So I hope the T-shirt will help”

• “let’s give doxy now also next to clinda. Doxy 10 mg/kg once daily, so 1/2 tablet 100 mg. Last time both bacteria sensitive to doxy also. Then we wait for culture to see what to change clinda for, hopefully the culture will show. 0.085 ml per kg yes for doxy paste”

• fr dr d:” only thing i have every found in oly are neutrophil with bacteria inside. no, thats the bacterial culture to see which bacteria he has now and to see how we can kill it. i think the clindamycine no longer working as the bacteria has turned resistant to that as well. if we stop antibiotics before killing all bacteria, they can turn resistant to it. and sometimes they can turn resistant while treating if very evil bacteria. last time he already had a multi resistant staph pseudo intermedius, so most likely has turned more multi resistant. once we know which bacteria and how to kill, then we also have to stop the itch. apoquel doesnt work enough, so all the other vets are advising to give prednisolone. i didnt want to give that because of the multiresistant bacteria but they all advised to give in low dose. cuz cant beat the bacteria if he keeps itching and biting. and i fully agree that idexx is better than avd for culture, but: with covid there are hardly any flights to USA so can not get the sample to idexx within 7-10 days. so cant do culture in usa at the moment…. conclusion: Wait for result from avd”

• just saw a random post that needed help for a few days to let a old sickly hide Cos today avs coming to catch him

• 405pm: arrived at aw to fetch her – a girl who totally look like Omo and omi – so I named her oly

• 3.86kg – aren’t thin but got lots of skin lesions 

• I’m sure she got lots of mites too – I’m damn itchy Cos of her

• shoulder/scruff neck area, even forehead got scab

• bathe her w dermatologist shampoo and let her sit for 80 mins of spa machine

Should using amikacin – dr brandon Told me “10mg/kg subcut once daily for about 2 weeks” – so dr e will prepare 2 weeks for me to collect on Monday

• dr elango says amikacin can be 10-15mg/kg, since oly condition is quite bad so don’t use 10mg but use 13mg. Today her weight is 4.04kg so

Dose is 0.21ml per jab, he said 3 weeks better but review in 2 weeks
