Carry him to oxygen cage and given nubulizer. dr d ard says give sugar, I gave nutriplus gel. 

Let him calm down alone till party end n I carry him to the tv room and reduce one bed on floor n carry jack to join him on bed to sayang him. 

He is weak. Still v Weak. Non responsive to food – selar and tuna w chicken ham.  

I know he got issue but is only can wait for his mind brain body to regulate type. Adjust his position n Ip position to make sure I can observe him.

Argh so angry siak told dr Brandon fei needs 2 persons. He tried twice on his own n poke fei thrice just to get 0.5ml of blood. argh fei is a easy boy, just that I know he sure will move. Erm. Bloods generally improve. darbepoetin working have to continue. Bought a new tub 40ug. 

Day; given fersobang and darbepoetin 0.065ml today cos no more have to buy fr clinic again

0.075ml 40ug. Crea 2.8 bun 66 – medi can’t stop. Sigh. have to give more frequent. review in 2-3 months time. Dr nally didn’t sound v positive about azodyl. Erm … she mention very ex n didn’t sound like it got much usefulness. 

Average bp 166/119. didn’t worsen much mah. I stick to my alternative medicating day, fei arent fed up daily. 

Morning: 6.09kg – gain 160g in 12 days. Today officially stop his clinda. Given Subcut w other meds

Morning: today cleaner is horrible. 3h can’t finish even one room, waste my time helping her w just even food room. Didn’t get to weigh the cats. Given oral liquid meds followed by Subcut w b12 b com then oral tablets –  so far this works the best. No vomit. I’m seriously thinking of stopping by his clinda 

Morning: lucky he got eat. Think must serve real tuna food. Subcut him. And meds. Jack sayang him after that n I go to work. Did feel he is thinner 

Morning; didn’t give med on Thu cos I’m not in, but he still vomit out bile juice. Sigh. That day after I medi him he got sign of about to seizure but didn’t (like going to have fits) then he vomit.

Morning: today I fed him liquid med b4 giving tablets. Harder to give tablets after that but gs didn’t vomit. Got see him get up to eat some wet food  

Night; ce:”fei didn’t eat dinner” – and she had given him clinda.

Morning; didn’t see him eat. Getting skeleton but weight is ok, something inside growing? Vomit out azodyl again 

Morning: 5.93kg – lose 60g in 25 days. Given Subcut b12 b com w all meds. And darbepoetin today. He vomit out the tablet n capsule. Let him be. He go bin pee, front 2 legs and body in bin only. Butt still outside – that’s the last scene I see b4 I do other stuff n found all pee on floor (not that diluted, not v v bad yet) but he really dementia le. Cute lao baby. Always tell him Jack love him. Ah mao love him too. 

Just logging a summary. I can’t remember whether I did give fei any darbepoetin for past weeks. But last confirm got give on first week sept, so Tmr will give him 0.035ml (40ug), don’t think he can stop it till I got a Cbc.

I rushed back 猫房 so today skip Subcut but I given benazapril amlopidine. tmr have to make a trip back, see how. I Duno why I didn’t retest him for pancreatitis ? Cos no point? But got point mah at least I know he needs to continue bupre or not sigh. 

New treatment plan for fei: 

1. amlodipine 0.625mg -> increase to 1.25mg i.e. 0.25tab 1x daily (given that he is very chill but BP still hovering ~150-ish)

2. Benazapril 2.5mg -> continue same dose, controlling UPCR very well at 0.3 today 

3. Phos bind alternate -> must continue, still hyperPHOS

4. Subcut -> must continue, consider 100-120mls 2x daily and monitor RR closely

5. B12 b com  -> can continue

6. Darbepoetin alternate week -> forget why i didnt do CBC today. let me know whats her last HCT again on 16Aug – cos 38% 

7. Fercosang monthly -> ok to continue

8. Sam e on off -> ok to continue for dementia effect – oh ya she mention maybe fei got dementia 

9. Buprenophine on off -> when seemed to be in oral pain 

10. Clindamycin 12mg/kg x twice -> dispensed 2 weeks for you, can remind me what this is for again? dental? – possible toxo cos seizure without explanation

Evening: given fei the usual med, clean his ears for him. Both ears sort of bleed. Sigh. I buy extra ear digging stick for him too to clean for his inner dirt. I need groomer in to clean properly.

Morning: I’m damn stupid I forgot to bring darbepoetin to 5G again. We go to see dr d now for review now. Let’s see results first. 

5.67kg – maintain weight as 20 days ago. 

Ears inside a lot of dunk so need to keep cleaning daily. Can’t wait till groomer to come. 

The nurse clean out lots of dirty stuff fr his ears. 

To take Cbc, Chem 15 cos he needs to check GGT, sdma, lytes, fpl. 

Cbc – good, dr d told me just continue darbepoetin but cut to once per 2 weeks. Just nice. So I skip this week then. 

His kidney still not good but improve le, sdma 14, stage 2. 

Liver ok. 

GGT normal. 

Lytes normal. 

Fpl abnormal – pancreatitis again, send out for number test. 

Explanation for seizure dr d don’t think is Kidney but maybe is toxo – but to send out for test is $276/360 no discount. I reject this test. So should treat without the test? Ans is no if he don’t have seizure anymore. Ans is yes if he got seizure again. 

Treatment for now: clinda (she struggle to tell me to give or not) and fluid Cerenia bupre b12,

amlodipine, benazapril, phos bind (his phos back normal le, can cut bah). 

She think v long n many times she still conclude must give ab. 

Remind dr d ear drop, n clinda and send out number 

408pm: after Subcut, bupre Cerenia given. B4 I can give Oral med he panic and he seizure, given diazepam. Calm him down. Erm toxo le. Waited for him to be more calm n give oral medi including clinda. 

Told jo to give too. Clinda is twice a day. 

While fei is recovering from seizure, kitty go over n check him out and smack him on his head. Though naughty, but I feel kitty is worried about fei fei and want to smack him awake or something 

Night: can walk n walk to join kp in bed and kp give up the bed to fei. Good girl. Ok I got to arrange cctv guys for more to be installed 

Evening; did eat a little fish. Sigh no fluid in 猫房 so today skip Subcut.

7am: normal. Told him later I back then Subcut. 

Morning: Subcut and give usual med – after that he walk back to tv and meow over 10

Times very loudly and in increasing volume. Can’t be angry, so is something wrong inside or sad or crying. I go sayang him and kiss him. Quiet down. Scary. 

Night: getting easily angry w oral med. have to review to see if we can stop anything or not loh. Subcut him. Today I left my last b12/b com. And given darbepoetin 

1107pm: night then remember that today I’m at 猫房 6h + didn’t give fei med. or did I? I tired till I can’t remember. I take it as no. Tmr continue. Yesterday he even bite my hand. Teeth did sunk in. Today jo pic he ok w eating so let him off today

Evening; eat medi as usual responded negatively. I’m still thinking on his review Erm. 

320-419pm: still his grooming. He super dirty. Bath 4 times. Water super yellow and brown. The groomer keep saying his both ears like got pus – will bring one of the stick to dr nally to check if anything. Both ears smelly. She dug a lot a lot a lot of things. His left ear got one big piece of stone come out. 

Throw his bed. Give him one new bed to sleep so Tmr we can go back 5G. Dig ears so long till no need hair dry Liao cos he is dry le.

Morning fed him 1/2 can while I pack up stuff. He ate a little. Got poo. Don’t Subcut, told him we going back 5G then go see vet. 

1120am: our grabpet came and clinic just cancel our 1130am appt. Sigh. Push fei and Rena back 猫房. fei blur2 wonder why. 

Today still manage to Subcut him twice. Told him Tmr back to once. Sigh amlopidine also running out soon. Fei and Jack and kp are like bedbedgang members.

12+pm: go back check on him, Subcut him. Told fei now move back 5G, so his Subcut will be once per week. Sigh. Duno when can review now neither here nor there. 

330pm: given felv cats their food, thinking fei will get use to no extra snack round at 5G or not 

8am: definitely cannot feel he is better. But stable for the past days. See how Cerenia stop from today. he did eat, but not much of wet. pee a lot. Soak thru the unicharm pad. Thrown again. 

today seem not as good as yesterday. Morning plate he did eat leh but plate super small cos no more plates in 4G. today last day of Cerenia. Tmr see how. Tonight added selar fish. He go toilet kick a lot of pallet on floor one. his body dirtier now. Told him nvm Tues bath then we go back 5G on wed. 

Today he is eating well. Maybe can try to stop Cerenia alr. Poo back to normal thickness 5/10. 

10am: saw him walk into bin to poo, one pc of 1.5cm only. Food intake ok. Is it cos eat too much? 1030am: poo many other small pieces of poo 5.5/10. just not his usual big long thick poo. Serve tuna w chicken w RC renal pouch. Got eat. But v little. Major cleaning so I carry him to living room. Not as active as when tao is ard. He just lie in the bed. I told him later change bed. Checked his unicharm pad – wa 2 days only, alr soaked. Changed.  

Smart boy, I carry him back in his old bed, he saw new bed he go to new one n groom himself and sleep.  

Night: eating well. I serve food n he will get up to eat. 

10am: Subcut Fei as usual. he is smart, I saw him at a position facing the bin, he wanna vomit will go bin vomit. so far 4th times le bah. Sigh. must give Cerenia today. 

Serve sparkles tuna w salmon – didn’t eat at all. Kibble not much too. 

5.67kg – gain 160g in 10 days. Suppose to be not bad har? Erm. 

I’m back w his b12 b com so I give one more round of Subcut today, cos now give darbepoetin, b12 b com Cerenia better. 

Serve him tuna w chicken. 

Saw him munch a little kibble. Told him we coming week bath. Then I arrange wed for him to vet n see how, then I bring him back Jack side – told him to be good he miss them, they miss and worry about him too. 

We fight a bit cos he don’t like oral meds. 

555pm: checked. He got eat leh. Wet and kibble. I serve extra blue black can he also got get up to eat – means really nauseous la. Lucky just now give Cerenia.

10pm: he clear most food including kibble also. Kibble left maybe 15% only. I top up again. And Subcut a little and serve tuna w salmon and dd sasami. He eat. so is really so nausea for past 2-3 days. Poor boy. 

8am+: no poo. Got eat. Today he lie on the blanket 🙂 sayang him n Subcut him. Serve tuna w chicken. Told him today 5G grooming, if he groom will be next week w the felv cats 

10pm: can’t give fei darbepoetin today cos I stupidly found out that I got no more b12. I got to remember to bring back from 5G. and got to purchase a bottle this sat. 

Morning: poo 5/10 a lot cos even bed also have. Did i found that he vomit bile juice w little kibble these 2 days. Nauseas – that’s why wet food didn’t eat much. Did eat kibble. I think he needs Cerenia – but – sigh, pancreatitis still on?

240+pm; fly to clinic I want to cry loh. I forgot to go workplace – end up I mess up my glass panel installation. Sigh fei nagging me ha he didn’t walk in my office then. Just take a look n I fly him back – I don’t want to leave him alone in clinic just now 

310pm: seen 3 monkeys outside the clinic!! Super cute. Then see dr nally. 5.58kg – today gain weight again. Haven’t even Subcut loh. 

Dr says fei gum looks good, so not taking Cbc. 

We take chem15 cos she want check liver only but that defeat the purpose of coming. Anyway she says he still looks good for a cat who had seizure at 10+. 

will see if the kidney n phos values to decide to be more aggressive in fluid treatment or not 

Today bp readings average of 8 readings – 142/102. Good. Ha later check if benazapril ans amlopidine can cut or not. – CANNOT

Told dr fei hate phos binder 

Chem15 out: kidney further worsen, phos ok, liver ok. Dr Nally talk about iv again. This round is 2 Weeks later see how – if again Erm —- need iv. Today onwards going

Go do twice Subcut. So fei going special treatment 猫房 hospital. 

Give him a new bed, and a blanket. Serve tiny taster – ate a bit. Got walk got meow x5.

2pm: told him I blur right.the o2 chamber waste my money didn’t blow at him, so I shift and blow at him, ha he move position to not face the blower.

Dr Nally taking his bp. Relatively high at 174, higher than the other time. To start amlodipine 0.625mg daily too, with benazapril continue same dose. 

Want to make sure she didn’t hear any fluid – didn’t get the chance to ask but she didn’t mention anything. 

Quick comment: she thinks the seizure can be due to: 

1. Toxic built up cos of worsening kidneys (crea not much, bun is high today, also aren’t that bad) 
2. Phos is too high – I think is this. 

She recommend to put fei on iv. I check schedule today is always a good day to start iv – Monday, cos Tues I can monitor much longer. I told her fei and in fact is confirmed to do it, but remember fei don’t like it. I got to weigh the pros cons again. Medically, iv is negative for his high bp. he got abnormal pro bnp somemore, iv only good for his kidney (but aren’t that bad yet what) other than it can help being phos down (to a certain extend) – not a direct help cos I ask dr nally will she still want to iv with the high bp in mind, her ans is yes. But less confident. End up she say wait 2 days see how n decide to put iv or not (I agree) but at this hour of doing log, I still sense more disadvantage of iv than pros. if really need to, should Subcut more loh, Tmr day time I will go back one more trip to see fei. 

Night: feifei Subcut …jack Jack insist on sticking w us … he is like daring like that, keep sayang fei while want me sayang. But I got to push him away a few times cos still got to oral med fei. 

Fei 9.7.24 sun 

1130-12pm: agnes ard and she saw fei still eat the finesse chicken salmon and he even groom himself. I’m alr at water bowl washing round when I top up fei plate n push to him and the plate on his hands … n the next few moments I heard violent sound in the crate – fei violent seizure. what happen? Sigh. I feel princess also might one day like that. But why? heart? Nerve? I calming wait for him to stop and carry him out to sleep on bed – Jack is a calming soul. He sayang fei and hug fei. i already settle stuff and ready to bring fei back to 猫房hospital for monitoring… but the way Jack head to head w fei majiang he is healing fei. I totally sense that staying w Jack is a better choice than I bring him back. It’s a risk I’ll take that I might find him dead by night time. Anyway I don’t have a safe clinic I think I can trust to bring him to today also. He will be happy to die under jack’s care? N I believe Jack healing power and sena is nearby to care after fei, she is the head nurse. Anyway I carry Jack to another bed w an attempt to maybe bring fei back again, after I pack the trash to throw, Jack is back to hugging fei and both of them sleeping le. Let them be. afternoon nap time. Will see them again tonight.

Night: as usual, I wanna scoop fei up in bed to go Subcut but fei and Jack sleeping in one bed, I flip Jack out to the floor n sayang him and I scoop fei to bridge area to Subcut. Given bupre, Cerenia, b12 b com darbepoetin also. n oral meds. Jack insist on squeezing in back to the bed and I let him be after medi is done, and I scoop both of them in bed back to original spot to continue sleeping. 🙂

5.44kg – drop 40g in 1 day. Good news. HCT 25.6%, slowly going up. today after this blood, Subcut n given darbo, b12 and b com. Bad news: pancreatitis still positive, want to send out the quantative test only $40+ but need 1ml of blood. Sigh. This skip le for today cos I brought him back alr. Have to restart him on bupre, Cerenia N doxy – review in 14 days. 

1054pm: I’m back and open his door. Sayang him a bit he totally deep sleep, i let him be. Got poo good w probiotics 7/10 le. Food got touch. Thrown. I prep new meds and food n he wake up n came out walking to the sofa carpet again 🙂

since iv stop, food intake I won’t say lesser (cos the period i stop he alr start eating less) but his poo is getting rock hard. Today’s dry and 10/10. Can’t give lactulose so I’ll give probiotics. serve tuna w salmon and wellness tiny taster – got eat. Told him today I’ll be out for long. 

12pm: back to 猫房, sayang him while he is in deep sleep again. I keep waking him up cos was worry that he sleep n don’t wake up. Ha I idiot keep disturbing his rest. Told him I go ah Ma house then go work le. He got up to eat some food, i top up his kibble 

11pm: sayang him he awake, ate 70% of food – thrown cos got ants. Got poo again, is there? Oh my memory is bad.

3.19kg – heard they r preparing the fercobsang dosage for fei. I trace back Totoro jabs last time (2.79kg, dr d give 0.5ml, dr Brandon did 1.4ml) today I read that this med can only be given oral to cats n dogs. But dr d n b give as Im to last one month. Sigh today Dr Daniel give Subcut only. N I heard he told vet tech 2ml, I told pearlyn to tell backend pls give 1ml. Duno is it they not happy I did so or I off fei from iv or ???! Anyway I’m at clinic w fei, ha no one bother about us. Ok good la. I did the minimum today, just making sure they take off the iv cath. Lucky I go into the consult room w them. They about to shave fei n I remind not putting new cath, only remove iv. poor fei fei almost got poke for nothing. 

Brought fei back, stay toilet he walk about a bit, then he saw got new bed he go into it. Then he get up eat some kibble go to bed then get up go eat some wet food. He is a happy boy. 

429pm: sigh Duno why in toilet the ip always don’t work. Erm. I tried seeing a few times all offline. Later see again. Fei is sleeping anyway.

8am: fei line entangled v badly. sigh. woken up … later he got to change extension line if not the way he keep entangling headache. wa I need to buy the extension line again. sigh. 

10am: eat a bit. Off drip and off we go to vet. Sure change iv cath one. 5.27kg – gain 100g. dr nally says his swollen paw might be why he cutting down in eating compared to day 1. 

bp taken: average 140. Means benazapril working well. She didn’t say anything means must continue loh. taken Cbc, kidney profile. 

1058am: Alex carry fei out, says his new iv cath is in right front. Left side he bandage up for his swollen paw. He says fei is a very good boy, not like Xiami. Ha. Fei report sigh. Crea bun didn’t improve at all, so got to listen to the high drip rate thingy 4ml/h per kg minimum so means 21ml/h for day at least. Phos need to restart phos binder. HCT 21.7% – needs to start darbepoetin 5ug. 0.066ml based on 0.5ug tube. I later got to check again. Top up his omeprazole iv. Have to review in 3-5 days, ie sat or Mon. 

Back to 猫房: drip rate 21ml/h. To start darbo, based on dr nally dose is 0.125ml. Mine is half dose, I ask her can start low or now – waiting for reply “Yes that’s right, 1ug/kg/week is usual dosage for cats. BUt yes you can start low dose. Formulary range is 0.25ug/kg to 1.5ug/kg.” So I’ll give 0.07ml first.

Correct decision to let him bath. He stand up well for drying and he look refresh. Ears damn dirty. Tmr won’t give Cerenia n bupre alr. See how. Didn’t revo plus him. Scare he is too weak for chemical. 

Night: serve him lots of food – didn’t eat. Or lick like 5%? But he touch a little kibble and go to bed again. Erm. Tmr stop Cerenia n bupre will be worse off?

Looks sianz. Didn’t eat much. Keep sleeping. Even doxy don’t works. Need iv? He alr daily Subcut also no use. think Tuesday best day to bring him for iv cath. All water bowl added lysine, apple cider. Or don’t wait? Tmr safer.  

night: I f10 whole iv cage, Tmr will bring fei go put iv. Hope he perk up and eat like Xiami once on iv.

Morning: see dr nally mainly for iv cath. 5.17kg, Lose 110g in 1 week. end up dr Nally wants to take chem15 cos of kidney profile and GGT, idexx pancreatitis, lytes and Cbc. Basically all in. To have a baseline b4 iv starts. 

1130am results out. HCT 24.4%, crea n bun worsen. To start iv 25-26ml/h day, 15ml/h night. I’ll deem fit later on, too high siak. 

Continue Cerenia and start omeprazole 0.48ml/h slow iv. bupre kiv. 

Confirm pancreatitis by idexx. So up his bupre to 0.26ml. 

1pm back in 猫房 – pee on my floor. Looks dilute the whole bag got to wash.

But I would be worried early inflammation in fiv cat. Follow up on anemia after 1 wk. If dehydrated, some fluids carefully. “ – give Clav 0.27ml.

But it might be heart problem, might be high bp issue. Dr Nally decide: let him start benazapril 2.5mg daily for 14 days n review n see how. Benezapril will help w the heart, high bp, his higher UPC. – got to start benazapril Tmr I got to bring over fr 4G. 

Dr nally says don’t like the muffed sound of his lung, noisy, i scare got fluid ah. Taken X-ray.

I let him nubulise quite long till I saw him like want to pee, let him out he pee n poo 1.75/10. Then he went to eat kibble leh? Or cos I put treats there? And he ate some fish. 

9pm: serve food, wa he didn’t eat scare me. I serve dd sasami and he start eating. Scary. 

11Am: sigh, haven’t reach 猫房 but I don’t know why m I so worrying. Clinic didn’t reply if I can reach b4 1pm. Sigh. 

Lucky when I reach he is ok in bed, got walk to room to find food. 

Will eat when I serve food but only eat a little, I serve again he eat a little again. 

130pm: brought him to 4G, same room as mama Mimi to wait to go clinic later on, he damn cool and steady. Still can drink and eat some of ciao grilled treats. Mimi did hiss at him but also rather calm. 

3pm: see dr nally, 4.48kg- gain 250g (I mainly told dr nally about the restart of urosofalk and the start of pred, n how pred is the reason I feel is worsening him) – and conclusion about his weight loss – nothing we can do, is just his cancer. They will just eat a lot and lose weight. Today she mention about the pain that he might be experiencing (now) or soon – so have to get ready f patch n see how. U/s (she didn’t emphasise on that) so she mean if one day do u/s just to see whether that mass got grow much bigger or not. 

Today mainly treat his flu. 

1. start doxy (44mg, standard 14 days – will give ard 12-13 days cos using 3 tubes) 
2. Start bromhexine (0.5 x 2 x 14 days) – ok to just skip a dose n also ok to give once x 1 tablet. 
3. Nubulise (Tmr then I start)  
4. Review open – no need to review if not necessary 

410pm: back to 猫房, given doxy and bromhexine. Serve food, eat a little. 

Night: seem ok, but still didn’t

Come canteen on his own, got eat. 

11pm: I’m sure fei know I’m v worried about him, he still eat, but bare minimum. I’m worried, and yet when I saw him getting up to drink water I have hope that I hope that his kidney is giving now n it’s pain n kidney issue so at least I know I can just Subcut to make him better and progress. If not, then how? Tmr seeing vet alr. 

Morning: Subcut him w b12 b com. Fluid w vitamins is the best. looking at him today, got the negative feel. I feel the pred is killing him. Just fed it, I feel like killing myself yet can’t anyhow stop. told agnes I got to forgo dr d slot, going dr nally this Friday.

I seriously thinking pred should stop too. will continue Tmr first then within 3 days drop 25% down till see dr d. I don’t think I want to see her then decide to stop or not. fei weight drop drastically even start, is a fact that it didn’t help. Don’t mention or worsen. for sam e I might even give him once every 4 days then wait for review see his status. Will Subcut him n b12 b com think will be much more beneficial for him.

Night: bought big paws hypoallergenic wet food for him, try pink tuna today, he is okay to eat.

Was talking to dr d regarding Manja lose weight, told her fei even worse. Resend her latest information (u/s n bloods) after sept treatment trial of epi, Summary:”Signs of ibd or other enteropathie. So ursofalk, b12, hypoall diet. If not responding, I would give low dose pred even if felv.” Since fei is only fiv+ “Then for sure try pred”. “There is sludge in gallbladder. First b12 and hypoallergenic food ideally. Then b12, ursofalk and low dose pred. Or go for biopsies under ga to confirm diagnosis. High risk” so sum up; add on 2 meds for fei. Ursofalk restart (I give max of 15mg per kg ie 1.4ml tonight, and stick to 4 times meds per week for them). pred start 0.5mg/kg, 0.5ml tmr onwards, same I’ll try 4 times meds per week and see how. 

Tonight given fei urosofalk n same as last time he always got the cough choke action after taking ursofalk. Erm …

His full abdominal u/s report is out, dr nally says to try 14 days Marbo jabs 0.7ml 2.75mg. 

Given tonight and also given probiotics 

5.09kg – drop 250g in 5 days 

EstimAte timing well 1030am step into 猫房 so I won’t give fei false hope for too long b4 i rush him to work. he is sleeping well when I’m in, he heard I’m in. – happy n steady – cos he know cleaning packing round. When I serve food he start to be fidgeting in the tent thinking why I haven’t give him, he can’t come out on his own. rushed him to clinic early. Cut a very cute  hubby look mongrel q, sorry I really damn bz and also good that cat b4 dog do u/s mah. findings are generally bad: 

• Mainly: got a 2.2cm by 2.5cm mass beside his pancreas. So that occupy a space in him. So is that a cause that he losing weight n etc – unknown.
• spleen, kidney abnormal
• Might be originated fr issue w pancreas – Erm so need to do any test on this?
• Intestines also got issue. Possible ibd

Ask dr nally about possible Subcut, pain killer, review? 

“SCFT – no, as eating well.” – But I’ll give minimum Subcut if I give Marbo. Unless fei can stand the sting as well as sweeties

“AB – recommend trial as not gng for biopsy, potentially an abscess, can trial marbofloxacin 2.75mg/kg 1x daily for 14days” –

Hold for report first 

“Spleen/kidney/small intestinal wall layer changes – re-scan in 2-3months for any progression” 

“Kidney changes – monitor SDMA/BUN/CREA/PHOS/UA/BP/UPCR regularly, q2-3monthly” – so that’s 2 months later 

“Pancreas – can do fpli, but normal = cannot rule out mass is from pancreas, abnormal = possibly related to mass but clinically Feifei is not showing signs (still eating well/digestion fine) so ? treatment of what” – so no point doing 

“Pain – discomfort likely, can give buprenorphine but may not increase weight, reserved for when not eating well. Mass – rescan in 2-3months to see if able to identify origin, pancreas vs solitary. Small intestinal wall layering changes – monitor appetite, vomiting/diarrhoea i.e. signs of IBD, otherwise not necessary need any diet/meds.“ 

11pm: he ate quite a lot, quarantine him in our make shift Picnic tent – with a bed for him to lie on. He like 🙂  

Tmr my schedule is horribly tight. Can’t cancel fei u/s. I got to go center work at dawn then come back feed them then bring him u/s then back 猫房 eat n I got to fly to work again.

5.32kg – to me is weight remain. To dr nally is 2kg drop cos she last see him 2 months ago 

She is thinking of diabetic if not cancer alr. Urine check for diabetic cos his glu on bloodworks is ok. 

Heart lung sound clear 

Physical press him also didn’t sign of Any pain 

Taken blood for ggt, alb, alk 

He manage to pee on his own so didn’t cysto 

But dr scan him a bit, Beside Left kidney got something – so she take an Extra xray – later will see it and discuss 

Protein got traces in pee so retake UPCR – not enough pee so can’t take. 

but everything point to something near kidney rather than his liver is an issue or his bile duct is an issue. U/s highly recommended. 

I’ll stop urosofalk to make him happy, also to see how it affect GGT for the next. Current GGT is back up to 5. 

Dr told me go back try take his bp. His sg is 1.018 so all abnormal la.

Significant weight drop when he is eating, something abnormal could be happening inside – ultrasound, but dr d can also feel his poo now so he did eat. 

She look at the previous bloods done, only abnormal is GGT. No other stuff can be seen on blood. If GGT is still abnormal, then u/s is highly recommend. 

Don’t feel anything weird in the stomach, not like tumor or what. 

Pancreas related issue (not pancreatitis), where the absorption of Duno enzymes is not good, that’s y the skin compensated too. 

Liver kidney etc didn’t feel enlarge or what. 

So see GGT result first, might try the following to see how: hypo allergenic food, pancreas enzymes, probiotics. 

Nail trimmed in clinic since free, nails half long.

2. Today take a 20 days trial enzymes to see he improve or not (indication is his weight) if weight go up, we continue this enzyme.

He is smart he didn’t sleep on the wet bed when I come in, he is on the cat fish box. Today we have platter plate again, tuna w whitefish, tuna w chicken and sparkles w pumpkin. 

9pm: wa fei go into bin, manage to free catch his pee, rare pee I can catch siak. Weigh all logic, rush to sunshine to get the UA and upc tested. no protein no blood that’s the core thing. Sg isn’t the targetted >1.035, but dr Ang says the most accurate pee is in the morning. So this kiv. But for now upc 0.05, n the UA, he is fine, no need semintra or etc. will send the result to aw. Wed i most prob moving fei back to 5G, Tmr will bring back the luggage bag to fetch him. tmr will inform him.  

Sent result to dr nally:”Yup if more than 3hrs urine sample also cannot do test, thanks for update. Basically I suspect FeiFei previously proteinuria was due to either cystitis when her URTi flared up, can safely rule out cause by hypertension.”

9Am: fei eating well, I think I need to shift him back to 5G soon cos princess is not eating much cos fei keep eating her food, and she will just walk away to hide below the cage to sleep.

Thoughts: I think he needs Marbo jabs.

Tonight he still got the slight jerking moments – think I got to send in for lytes and Cbc check Tmr. Today I skip Subcut n Cerenia cos don’t dare to give without knowing lytes status.

Clinic: “Any further coughing/sneezing episodes? – he is fine. What is his recent BP readings? Got to do it tonight too i buy battery Liao. As per DrBrandon/Nally, if still not eating recommend sedate check mouth/dental +/- extractions if there are problem teeth. – Reject sedation. Review to recheck liver values, potassium and urine. – waitIng for Tues appt slot. Abdominal ultrasound is also recommended if his liver value continue to increase. – next next step. He will need SC fluids is he is not eating. – alr been giving. If not how to survive?”

Clinic:”FeiFei shows signs of interest in eating but goes away, showing that it might be an oral issue. Hence next step is check mouth/teeth thoroughly while under sedation. – now don’t even seem keen. Lucky still swallowing food. Urine wasn’t check last visit so is due anytime to check protein level, potassium and liver can be reviewed especially if he is not eating so early next week is best. If potassium keeps dropping he may become weak. – I alr supplement kcl loh, k soooo Low. Today rena look at me feeding fei, told Rena to tell fei eat eat eat. Last time Rena k too Low also can’t eat, must supplement more kcl. should I go 1.5 v in next bag? Would like to also do an X-ray to check abdomen to see if he is actually constipated, some constipated cats stop eating and start vomiting. – fei didn’t vomit but good to do an X-ray. After all these done and still no findings or if liver values high then recommend ultrasound next step.”

Night: didn’t touch anything on his own at all. Day 03 on pred and Buprenophine- this plan don’t work at all. When w appetite stimulant also don’t work at all. How? He basically survive now cos I still Subcut him w fluid and syringe feed him w food. Tonight kiss him a lot and syringe fed him whole can of aixia oldie. Give little Subcut w Cerenia.

weird thing is he don’t look uncomfy leh – he can still groom himself leh. Sigh y?

Morning: day 14 not eating on his own. No improvement at all. He don’t even seem to be keen on food now, down even seem to want smell at all. Omg. Sigh.

Nubulize him n let him rest in o2 chamber for some time. 

Syringe fed 33ml ad n his lysine gel. 2 days ago I did give him nutriplus gel, think will give again cos got nutrients and I know he isn’t constipated. 

1215am: v sad so many hours didn’t touch food at all. One piece of poo in bin, 9/10 dry. I didn’t dare to give nutriplus gel. Serve bistro chicken – finally got the look keen look again, but same – didn’t eat. 

Syringe fed 30ml ad. 

I apply appetite stimulate gel alr, Today alr 2 whole days of pred and Buprenophine. 

Don’t think is pain issue, don’t know what issue at all. Sigh 

Morning: same. Didn’t eat. Lucky got poo , <10cm total 6.5/10. Seem ok. At least rule out constipation. Serve bistro chicken and tuna w salmon- didn’t eat expected.

Show dr Brandon the day 01 eating video, day 03 trying to eat video. He checked the mouth throughly 3-4 times. Other than can’t check under tongue without sedation, there is no problem w the mouth other than a small little ulcer at the front, canine have some exposed roofs which shouldn’t be the issue unless his pain tolerance is really sooooooo Low. he even touch and press his front little tooth also no issue. His gum and colour all look fine. 

His ears r fine – still a little dirty, can stop ear drops. 

Told dr b today is day 14 last dose of all e meds and ab – he say can stop. No sign of fei having nose issue loh, think the vet tech nose stuffier than fei loh. i might still Nubulise him but will throw the med. 

He felt warm but temp is 37.5, can’t be poo blocking cos he just poo this morning. 

Wanna do UPC N UA – but his bladder small so didn’t get to do them. 

Today a little more reactive than usual, poke 5-6 times Dracula just to get bloods – dr b don’t think Cbc is needed after we think about it 2-3 times, chem15 and lytes more cos of worried about his organs cos so many days didn’t eat. Taken the non expire pro bnp. Better to rule out pancreatitis than guessing, so taking v check. 

As of not b4 results r out, 

Dr b says actually nothing much from physical examination, so we can try 5 days of the following:

1. Buprenophine 0.4ml in case his pain  tolerance is really Low 
2. Pred 10mg for the mouth in case the small ulceration really did cause so much discomfort for him. (No need tap down cos short short course) 

1258pm: still waiting for results:

1. chem15 and Lytes – alt 211 up cos didn’t eat, k 3.3 low need to supplement. will give Sam e to Protect him for a while also. No harm. 
2. Probnp – normal – so I shall Subcut it need be – cos I need give potassium also. Dr b says no need to give k, ok see the 3 days experiment first, cos if eat food k will go up. 
3. V check – normal 

119pm: wait until angry or Want to pee, keep meowing. Abnormal behaviour I scare. Uncomfortable? Just sneeze thrice when i many days didn’t hear his nose having any issue 

Bought the appetite cream too, but need to filter down what thing help him so start pred and Buprenophine 3 days first. Then add on. 

220pm: I’m dead. I’m so late home. He didn’t go bin so not bcos he wanna pee or poo, he also fed up tired from waiting. 

Given pred and Buprenophine. first time I give so high amount. Scary. 

Serve aixia red. Leave him alone see how 

4pm: didn’t touch food, didn’t look too knock out by Buprenophine. Syringe fed him 30ml ad. I’m dead. 

540pm: 3h Liao, by right either one work he should have some improvement. I serve kakato tuna w chicken – Not eating. 

Night: still day 13 not eating on his own at all. syringe fed 30ml aixia oldie. 

Given Buprenophine again. 

Morning: I would sometime think the face is more unhappy/sad than frustration, i talk to him told him he isn’t a cat that nobody like, I got to wake up early for him, spend more time on him, even alley room can’t eat cos all got

To wait for him to finish medi and I syringe feed first, all cos he is a still the fei fei ah Mao pamper. want him perk up and eat on his own.

753am: I’m worried about him, in case heart issue or what, checked: alive. He might have touched 1% of food, can’t be sure. But confirm got pee (looks ok) no poo. 

Face/ eyes still look alert, serve tuna w chicken ham w prawn, did smell again, did try to lick again, nothing. Not eating. Something is wrong la. Can’t smell can’t taste? Nubulize alr – maybe today I should add in gentamicin. 

1+pm: given meds. serve ad – didn’t eat on own. Syringe 30ml ad. nubulize w gentamicin. 

No poo yet. 

night: decide not to give him Cerenia (cost saving for agnes) but mainly cos I need to Subcut to give Cerenia, I’m worried about fei’s heart cos pr is high. 

serve kakato chicken fillet, he got reaction and this round his tongue did flip the chicken (didn’t eat) but he manage to lick the chicken juice means something Erm, mouth?! But if is liquid is ok, then why not aixia oldie? I serve aixia red also. Syringe fed him 10ml. push the food platform to his bed, like hospital bed, convenient for him to eat anytime. Not keen on kibble at all. did pee again that’s important. 

Hope this is a good start, Tmr continue nubulizing w gentamicin again.

• 630pm: enter 猫房 – weigh him 7.39kg – first cat he seen is tiger Mao, no reaction. He hiss at Rena who scream at him 

• let him stay in room D till he start eating and stabilise (next week then merge him) 

• 7pm: serve him tuna and smoked fish 

• 930pm: didn’t eat, serve him dd pure pumpkin 

• 11pm: didn’t eat, serve him bistro chicken – got reaction but still didn’t eat 

• I can put my face to his head – he ok w it 

• he seem sleepy, let him rest in case he didn’t get to sleep this period trying to escape danger?

• sayang him and serve him tuna and white fish and kakato salmon since he is a fish cat

• his steam fish is here, he going kaka over it. – Super happy
