8.30am+: I enter till 11am plus no pee. I carry him to bin he also don’t 顺便 pee some. 

Move him to room 6, didn’t look dangerous I feel I can merge him but I didn’t open the door. Cos I need to monitor his pee. Teddy wanna the room. Did eat. When jack is near the room he did growl. 

Given bupre and meloxicam jabs today. 

3pm: I go 猫房 visit again and serve snack, his breakfast didn’t touch at all. Food not touched. Bin no poo n pee. 

3.47pm: still no pee day 03 

Night; mmm;”Left over food” – he didn’t eat at all today

9.30am: he did eat the chicken overnight. Alr pee. Got poo also. Sit on deck 2, leg can move more le la 

10am+: saw his chicken plate he did touch food. I walk in check on bins, 45% of his unicharm pad full height full of pee. So he store 3.5 days of pee to pee at one go type. Open up his room, he quite Zai, walk out and smell jack no fights. Another cat Join I forgot who Omg n they part, some cats he will hiss but no intention to fight. I sayang all parties. Told him they are all my 猫房 cats. He walk out n into room 6 more than 4-5 times. Safe. Stylo. Let him be. Given meloxicam. 

9am: food all cleared, drink quite a lot of water. Still no pee and poo. Day 02 no pee since fri cab fee. 

10.17am: jo: “Still no pee we try this method” – she lay a big pc of Peepad on floor. Hoping hei bai pee on it – Erm then s can’t major clean the room le. Erm. Tmr how I shift him over ah. Then I got to clean up on my own. 

5.38pm: mmm:”Ok. I try. He meow at me. N walk once” – she try giving him meloxicam. Told her can’t just skip, cos hei bai easier to jab than oral. 

5.41pm: “He just ate the last bit of food on plate.”

9.19pm:”Hei Bai crying. Pain? Toy toy walk too close n hei Bai will hiss” – skip one day painkiller only. Tmr I merge him to room 6, hope he don’t make any loud noise. 

9.35pm: mmm:”Last try. Couldn’t. He’s fast for his size” – medi by mmm failed 

And so far no news on their invented pee method – so day 02 full day no pee. Tmr see how. 

9.08am:jo:”“No pee maybe this doesn’t suit him too small? Too high? Door open when I came”” – mmm left the room overnight ajar for him to get some aircon for the night, n he did poo yesterdsy in bin so he is auto litter trained. 

Got eat chicken – finish ard 70%. 

Confirm less growling sound, but tmr put him in  room 6 Duno now. See how he choose about his retirement plan  

10am+: I’m in and he is happy. Will come out sayang. Body still very dirty no matter how many times I had wipe le. Given him catrophen first dose 0.33ml today. Next sat give second dose. I give him meloxicam oral 0.5ml (1.5mg/ml) today to see his reaction, melo oral supposed to be nice for cat, he also don’t like it. GABA 1ml he totally hate it, flam so much and he consider for split second n he decide to bite me, he really hate oral med. jab is fine. Prep meds for mmm to help me give tmr when I won’t be in (no need to tell her give le. I can’t cause her injury), tmr he will skip med. I’ll give him meloxicam N bupre jab when I’m in.  

I serve him extra 2 more food, he didn’t touch. Kakato tuna w seaweed also don’t want

10.27am: nally: “become v v grumpy, had to draw blood from front legs, better compared to neck. clipped all nails, noticed angry when touching left back leg, the entire left hock is swollen and painful… recommend xrays to find out but treatment is painkillers. waiting for bloods to see if can give melox. yes, but he can still walk in clinic” – from jo video, he ok la, but I know he sure turn n move head one, he don’t attack don’t bite but he move also dangerous for needle to poke his neck. 

10.30am:n:”ok, we will attempt xrays. he very stressed out now so have to take short breaks, panting with struggling… in ur plc any lameness?” – I send don’t take if overstress 

10.36am: n”i can attempt bt as soon as her struggles i will stop. yes he had a good 5min break just now. i can give a jab of methadone later for painrelief” – agree to methadone jab. And X-rays taken. 

11.03am:n”update for HeiBai:

– blood work all within normal limits, except for stress hyperglycaemia

– *freecatch* urine test trace protein, rest all neg/norm, no glucose, USG 1.026 (isosthenuric)

– urine microscopy no bacteria or crystals

– FeLV/FIV/HW all neg

– xrays L and R hock all have evidence of marked arthritis and there is suspected fracture at the hinge of the hock (both left and right) so suspect is obesity related

– methadone given, can give 3-4days of melox to see if any improvement in swelling (mainly L hock)” – his HCT 48% and I’m correct, his kidneys r fine. But legs super not fine. 

I guess i know how his legs are injured. To escape n hide from danger he choose to hide in feeder house, n if he need to jump out of her house, her gate look like this, white is a board to block the gate, so he got to jump out of the red colour area that small gap. 

11.04am: n:”did a quick lateral abdo since we’re in that position for backleg xrays, no bladder stones seen, also did a quick bladder scan – confirm no stone inside bladder. melox is injection or oral u have? no need bupre for now unless still painful but would prefer gaba over bupre. no need antibiotics” – I’ll prep meloxicam inj n oral tmr, ill give jab and let jo/mmm help oral if I’m not in. GABA they can give tmr I’ll prep. Today he covered by methadone. 

11.05am:n:”hock swelling if responding to meds should be in next 3-5days but the arthritis is really bad, unless he lose wgt (i doubt in short term..) no bladder stone or kidney stones” – so I ask for catrophen and her reply:”yes, cartrophen will definitely help” 

“melox oral 0.5ml 1x daily for 4days (sl lower dosage) or melox inj 0.16ml SC 1x daily for 4days. gaba 100mg 1tab 2x daily. if gt joint supps can also start him on it” 

11.09am:n:”so for urine wise if continue to anyhow pee, more likely a stress issue, as for now no abnormalities, but if straining or blood, consider urinary supp (cartrophen would have help) and may consider urogenital scan in future”

11.43am: they back in room 1, told jo to serve another plate of chicken jelly, He got the super strong painkiller le hopefully he will eat – he did eat, really eat well so poor boy must be in so much pain. Wa somemore auntie like to drag/pull cat by their legs. Lucky that day she pull her front leg out not hind legs.

He got iso room to rest for now. Next week I got to try to merge him. I have to really depends on his behaviour, if he aggressive go and provoke fight, then considering his legs injuries, I still ask Dr Nally opinion on: If fighting vs go back void deck, which is a better option?

Her reply: “if he’s more stressed out being kept with other cats + fighting, might be kinder for him to go back outside but close supervision. as long as EDUF ok, arthritis can hopefully be managed with supplementing/cartrophen inj him while feeding…” – I’ll deem fit first. Tmr will not merge him. Tmr sayang and tell him the situation. Then Sunday major cleaning day. Monday then merge him see how

Serve tuna w salmon n husse tuna salmon, got smell didn’t touch – clear away. Serve FFG chicken treat, keen maybe take a bite. Serve whiskin chicken jelly, keen got eat maybe a mouth full while I accompany him, then I left to do other stuff, he totally didn’t touch further. 

Jo says she accompany him, he ate some kibble. 

I syringe fed him 9ml ad, grumpy non stop. His nails ultra long, almost ingrowth Liao. Have to cut at vet tmr. Waste money siak. 

1.30pm+: thinking of skipping tmr vet appt. Sigh. Everything price raised. Kerry room can’t shift. Tv room can’t return to mmm. No way to cut increasing cost. Send to dr nally on why I also think hei bai got what reason to see vet, cos Duno what’s the issue also. 

I update her factual info n her replies:

this is of concern as it’s >24hrs no pee, peeing at other locations (periuria) typical of stress (feline idiopathic cystitis) especially in sterilised male cats that’s anxious/timid, which can progress to urinary bladder blockage if serious. if he’s confirmed not peeing >12-24hrs, strongly advised to come in asap…

Inappetence can be due to pain or stress.”

“Yes just worried his abormal urinary behaviour is start of something which then pogressed. He’s very overwieght so I doubt you can palpate the tummy for his bladder?” – ok tmr go vet la (see the pee status later on) 

4.26pm; mmm send me a photo of his plate, he got eat half can of chicken jelly. Sleeping.

Consolidate last info I had on hb, his last weight on 16 Jul 2025 10.4kg – I prepare revo syringe for auntie to give. 

Last tested on 22.2.2022 fiv felv both negative.  

Today enter 猫房 > 10.30am, weigh 10.87kg – gain 470g from 9 months ago. 

Keep growling at daring/ Kerry next the door, wa like that how he can stay room 6. see how first. he got till 21.4 to monitor in room 1. 

Serve tuna w smoked fish, didn’t eat. Let him sniff FFG chicken he did but concentrate growling daring. Didn’t show any aggression towards me. Sayang him. Told him I got to go into their room. He saw me Subcutting toy. 

Sum up info I gather from Auntie. I ask her what will she say if she is at the vet right now, she say hb wanna pee then pee then (no logic to anyone), the only diff to her is he didn’t call for her to let him to go out to pee but pee in her house. Didn’t seem like an issue, at least not an issue that a vet will know what to do then. 

Then he pee on cardboard, then it can be hb got reasons not to go to his usual spot to pee (she then say XBDD always stalk him there). Then the fact that she can smell the pee smell, means hb kidbey urine concentration aren’t that bad yet. So conclusion, if today go vet either vet also Duno what to test, if not will be anyhow everything also test. Cbc chem15 lytes, fiv/felv, urine analysis UA UC. Blood n urine smear. Will see how today n tmr. 

Then Fri 10am appt I’m not sure to go ahead or not, even can go ahead, can they get hb blood? 2022 record that he is far too fat, end up only got 0.5ml Blood to get a fiv test and cbc done. I didn’t mind knowing his organs functions now. 

Still love butt rub, I use wet wipes to clean some of his back body and also remove that flattened pc of shit near his butt hole.

Have to monitor for some factual details to even tell the vet, if not how to check? Check aimlessly. See how. 

10am+: went to find them. Auntie say hb inside sleeping under the bed, she can’t get him out. Pass her the labelled revo. Scary her, she said inject then feed oral. lucky I use cap n told her is revo !! Brought a new sb sofa for them, but only xbdd play w it first

3-4pm+: got news that hei bai is missing since

5am+ (last seen under taxi) can’t find him after bending to lots of cars, and go to corridors To find him. Either taken or he will be nearby. I search zero zone, Batman zone and A and C zone cars. Before I go AA zone, cyn inform that auntie found him at AA car. Even I can scruff him, his body weight is really wow. Hard to get him out. No injuries. but he did look anemic. how? He isn’t weak enough to not fight in 猫房. N I also max up my space this period. No space. Have to wait for Elie to go off then maybe can let him have the toilet space. his mouth is quite fine. Just find him pale. He did eat. But don’t know why he hide. Cos of paint work?

9.30am: aiyo agnes n moon don’t seem to be at coffeeshop leh. So I play w hb tell him i going to buy cat food 

7-8pm: visit hei bai to check on him. Need to have a gauge of his status to know how much I need to stretch myself for his dental issue. he is totally off important list. Not even as serious as oly cora they all. Will be at the back of the list. Few reasons: though I can’t see his inner mouth, cos I try to see the gum of his left mouth, gum n etc don’t seem got issue and his nails alr injure my hand. I still got to stop him and xiao Bo didi from having any chance to fight. He keep growling at xbdd. his outer mount area is nice and clean. I didn’t smell any bad smell. His character and strength (he bite me wor, when I clean one of his ears) his character can’t even stay 猫房 for recup if debtal is done. So confirm not doing anything. 

8pm+: I’m back home, hand super itchy and allergy to hei bai. And his bite no bloods it’s hard and pain, but just no wound. His teeth no strength or he don’t have much teeth? Or he didn’t use strength? Like alley didn’t use strength when biting me sometime but alley is just tooooo strong w sharp teeth. 

Noon: thinking if hb is coming 猫房 to recup n get ready for dental, where can I put him? Or he can learn to laze ard w the rest? Cos 12.8 is the date I’m using all my made shift box and 2 Quaratine cages.

6.53pm: petspace inform that appt confirmed earlier they can’t, Wan me reschedule to 3.30pm n I reply cant, still ask me what time i want then? I reply as arranged and they say can’t again. Then ask me for what? Sigh. Means 12.8 no need to catch him go vet tgt anymore. No slot. 

8pm+: auntie catch me to tell me hei bai mouth is swollen. She sound really much worse this round. I need to try to see if I can catch to see him these few days. If I think is bad enough I’ll bring him to Dr d on 12.8

And see how. I’ll bring him indoor if he gonna do full dental.

Got some news about him seeing vet on 23.11. only physical check and his upper teeth poke his gum, for an ulcer. On 10 days of baytril and 3 days of meloxicam. No bloods taken. 

9Am+: saw feeder outside the house so means can hold of hb 

10am+: I go find hb, end up he is under the van 

I set up fluid bag and call him n he come out greet me and I carry him (hard to carry, v fat) to Subcut. He understand I don’t hurt him. Subcut given, b12 b com given. he even eat treats. All looks fine, even teeth looks fine. Didn’t look slim down. so my current conclusion: he is anemic, his gum is pale. he drink water for some time but feeder say he yesterday night didn’t. Still alert, play w me 翘屁股 n belly rubs. 

Saw Xiaoli in the morning b4 I rush to 猫房.she say hb now outside sigh. Today I bringing 5 cats to vet le. No way to bring hb along plus she don’t have carrier in her place. Totally can’t do it. his status: still got eat.

Just a thought even now I’m damn free I also can’t bring him to vet le. Dead poor cos the vet bills are crazily high. 

244pm: shouted for him can’t get him. Called and uncle says auntie sleeping. Sigh I alr max my limit of help le. Keep coming to help. Hei Bai is trapped in the house while she go out / sleep n I can’t even get to see him. Wth. I got to rush back to work Liao 

After midnight got msg to tell me to bring hei Bai to vet. “Drooling when sleeping n slim down a lot, didn’t eat well” – lack of info and want me to call auntie myself = no info. Obvious I can’t call. sigh. Can only plan without info. Does it make sense? Sacrifice 猫房 cats well being for a unknown info on whether hei Bai really need to see vet? Sigh. 

Wth how to plan. I don’t even have carrier here. Sneak out 245pm, can only reach aw 3+, ps at 330pm. Dr d is in if it’s mouth issue. She will not let me wait that long n I can see n test n run. for aw, waiting time 1h – immediate rule out. but ps no matter how fast I m total need 1.5h even if I don’t wait for results and etc. Then I only have 1h to do 猫房 stuff, celebrate Manja bday and tear down the shelf. Sigh. 

210pm: sigh! Raining!!!! Sigh dr d alr standby for me. Now rain how to go how to run how to move fast.  

245pm rain almost stop sneak out to go fetch hei Bai sigh, door open I shouted so long n bang the gate and no one ans. Called n yet auntie at hospital. Sigh. Hei Bai is in the house, no way I can catch him at all. Extra info: mouth / jaw seem to be swollen. But nothing I can do. I alr squeeze out scarce time n yet it’s cork up. Sigh. I got to feed the rest early since I run out early. Today 猫房  kids super early dinner. Cancelled appt w dr d alr. 

356pm: she call me sigh wth I hate those talk the most. I’m a do-er. Talk so much didn’t do n can’t do what’s the use. Alr told her I’m not free at all, n I squeeze out the time slot at 245pm to fly to vet. 

450pm: I worried about hei Bai still, cos I know miss today Tmr onwards no chance at all. So I got to fly to the feeder to fetch hb to rush to aw then. Best. She is not at home!! Omg she is still at hospital, omg then just now 4pm call me for what. Omg really for what siak, I really got no time leh. sigh fuck up schedule today. Wasted so much time go back get scolding n end up didn’t even get to check n see hb, lucky I didn’t tell aw warm up the fiv felv test kit yet. don’t make sense day. Sigh

These 2 days. Wawa become ill – inflammation. Ah hei is found dead. Erm … hei Bai stay in auntie house to sleep – good 

10+pm: given hb a pc of Saba fish – not keen at all. Told him next time I see him must give him cod fish. 

Noon: I go ard tearing down Batman poster and informed hei bai Batman is gone, told him to be careful this period something wrong w this carpark, Mao leg gone, Batman life gone without body. 

Night: after one dose of medi, he today eat 1.5 cans alr. Ok alr. Reminded auntie thrice that med give 2 days can already. 

Morning: auntie told me hei bai got fever, normally eat 2 cans per day but these 2 days didn’t eat much only eat half to one can. – sigh I’m in a rush so didn’t really think – grab him along to see dr nally. 

11.3kg. dr mention the word “abuse” le for hei bai weight n size, so fat. He is extreme agitated can’t draw blood from neck, can only draw from hind leg (n only a bit less then 0.4ml) – so only can manage to take Cbc n fiv felv. 

Fiv felv snap test = both negative. 

Idexx results – Fiv felv both negative. 

Dr see hei bai size – first thing pancreatitis – but can’t test cos can’t take blood. now only can give appetite stimulant – 2 days only. see how first.

have to monitor food intake, any vomitting, pee colour for next 3 days. 

Gum colour ok (HCT 49.5). no mouth issue, no ulcer. 

Can’t draw blood fr neck, too fat, shave alr he keep turning sideway. 

If is pancreatitis, he needs to be Subcut and start ab. 

Best sent him back n his carrier broke – new one siak. He tooooooo fat.
